| Hi In our #005 Issue, posted April 21, 2005 we told you that mid 2005 transiting Saturn would be opposite Brad Pitt's natal Moon/Venus conjunction, marking his divorce. According to different news reports, Brad Pitt's marriage to Jennifer Aniston is officially over now. A judge signed the divorce papers August 19, 2005 but the divorce won't be finalised till October 2, 2005 though. This means that October 2, 2005 will mark the official split between Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. In the same Issue #005 we also wrote: "From October/November 2005 progressed Venus is at 15° Pisces, signifying love dreams. Progressed Venus trines the progressed MC. Transiting Jupiter conjuncts converse progressed Ascendant and transiting Saturn conjuncts converse progressed MC. Jupiter and Saturn on the angles mark a new beginning in Brad Pitts (love) life. Don't expect him to be still single then!" Seems that our prediction is right on target so far! Also, in that same issue we predicted that a boy would be born to Britney Spears on October 2, 2005. Us Weekly magazine reports that Britney gave birth by Caesarean section shortly before 1 p.m. PDT (1700 GMT) at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center, California on Wednesday September 14, 2005. Britney had been previously reported as saying she planned to have the baby by Caesarean section to avoid the pain of a natural birth... On her web site Britney revealed "it's a Boy!" Our prediction was right, stating the baby would be a boy. We were wrong about the timing (15 days off)... Anyway, every single case is differently and a treasure to study why she gave birth just now. In this Love Letter we continue our series about the findings of Marlis Moritz (March 2003) and the behavioral scientists Kop and Heuts about the choice of marriage partners and the month of birth. Love Forecasts for October 2005There are three days in the monthly love horoscopes of October 2005 that are of importance:
Around October 2-3 Mars stations to turn retrograde, almost on the moment we will experience a Solar Eclipse at 10° Libra. Stationing Mars in materialistic Taurus will bring a sudden shift in and an abrupt ending of interests. Mars is often related to career interests and a retrograde Mars re-considers, re-thinks, re-verses the career and other interests that drive you. This will affect you directly if you are born around November 15, February 12, May 14 or August 16. If you are not interested in your lover anymore, you will (immediately and abruptly) quit. From one day on the other, your focus will change and your drives will reverse. Also, Mars is the "need for speed", even in Taurus, the most slow and indolent sign of the zodiac. Mars is more reactive now than active and may bring some frustation that things are not proceeding fast-forward. Expect more tension, nervousness till Mars turns direct again around December 10, 2005. The Solar Eclipse at 10° Libra (a very sociable degree) is in your favor if you are born around January 31 and May 31. Also, blending this Solar Eclipse in Libra with receding Mars, is an indication of extramarital relationships and affairs. From October till December we expect a lot of couples to seek for more compassion and love by relating with already married partners, bringing more triangular situations. The Solar Eclipse is a sociable one and denotes a lot of new encounters for the next six months. It's not a very sexual Eclipse with the Mercury-Jupiter conjunction in airy Libra, but it's definitely a very enjoyable one that will push you to new ventures and in which you will meet quite interesting people. Around October 8, Venus, planet of love enters Sagittarius, sign of foreign countries, strangers and beliefs. On the same day Mercury enters passionate Scorpio and the Sun trines Neptune. Around October 17, the Lunar eclipse at 24° Aries will bring more tension in the air. It will directly affect you if you are born around April 14, July 6 or January 14-15. This Lunar Eclipse points to disruptive (separative) events. Live your dreams around October 21. Around October 22 your mind is strategically planning and sharp. You are assertive, but mind your words anyway. Jupiter enters Scorpio, sign of the resources of "the others" and partners around October 26. This position may bring in more money (and legacies) -- and intense passion! Whom are you married/attracted to - October BirthsLast month, we discussed some findings by Marlis Moritz (March 2003) and the behavioral scientists Kop and Heuts about the choice of marriage partners and the month of birth. We printed their results for people born in September.Let's take a look now at what their findings reveal about October births: Females born in October most preferred males born in January, they least preferred males born in June. Males born in October most preferred females born in January. They too least preferred males born in June. Indeed, higher divorce rates than expected by chance existed for marriages where the males were born in October and females born in June. Next month, more about November births. Attraction versus Compatibility - Part 3 (incompatibility)In our previous Love Letter, we discussed how to measure basic compatibility in quite a simple and reliable way by assigning a specific weight to the planets in the signs.There is basic compatibility when the resulting signs are "compatible" with one another (conjunct, sextile or trine), following the natural order of the zodiac. We also told you that signs squaring one another do not as such point to incompatibility. But when, then, are signs (and the relationship) incompatible? Well now, consider all the 12 zodiac signs in their natural order, starting with Aries and ending with Pisces. Some signs do not "see" one another when they are in an Element (Fire, Earth, Air or Water) and of a Quality(Cardinal, Fixed or Mutable) they don't grasp, they don't understand and even can't integrate into their basic (archetypal) meaning. The Cardinal Fire sign Aries does not know how it is to be Mutable Earth because cardinal is accustomed to do things 'straightforward', in a very linear way while mutable just "wanders around" and spreading Fire does not understand how it is to be inert and indolent as earth... These archetypal principles do not understand one another, they do not blend (compare this with water mixed with oil: they do not blend), they don't fusion. And this blending, integration or fusion is all what compatibility is about: you can understand, feel, see, smell,... or comprehend the other - even if it's not your understanding, feeling or smell etc. But you can tolerate the differences, understand it and integrate the differences into your life. When signs (and "worlds") are so much apart, so differently that they don't blend well, astrologers say that they are "disjunct" or inconjunct (quincunx) one another. So, basically, incompatibility exists when the resulting signs are inconjunct one another. What signs are basically inconjunct or quincunx (and thus incompatible with) one another?
Just a warning though: don't think that because you are Virgo, you don't match with Aries! It's not that simple and not going that way! This rule only works when using the total or resulting compatibility analysis that we discussed in our previous Love Letter! Indeed, when your Sun sign is inconjunct the Sun sign of your partner this will NOT necessarily mean that you both are incompatible -- on the contrary... Why on the contrary? While two planets in incompatible signs don't understand one another, there can grow kind of a curiosity and a questioning: "Woow, how does (s)he do THAT?", "Woow, I can't believe how (s)he managed THIS or THAT!!"... That's why only the total score by using the method discussed in our previous Love Letter points to basic incompatibility, and some single planets in signs inconjunct one another can bring attraction! Remember? Planetary configurations point to attraction, the zodiac signs point to compatibility!! And what about "neighborhood-signs" (Aries and Taurus for example)? Well, these are incompatible signs too, but on another level and more easily to adjust to. Even if they are incompatible, there may be a strong bond, standing side-by-side, trying to resist life's tempests. Continued next month...
