Love Forecasts for January 2006Retrograde Venus enters Capricorn again on January 1, 2006. How appropriate to start the New Year with the planet of love entering the sign of our Society, politics and business. However, in business-minded Capricorn, the planet of love is more interested in money and material security. Clearly, love has a reason now...On January 3, Mercury will follow Venus and enter Capricorn too, but as Mercury is direct it will enter Capricorn by the "front door" at 0°. Messages from authorities, lots of talks and blah blah blah... will prevail this day. There seem to be many ambitious dreams that still have to be realized... Mid-January 2006 there are some juridicial confrontations. However, if you are born around February 4, May 6, August 8 or November 8, some happy events may await you. This also holds true if you are born around September 8, January 6, March 6 or July 8. Don't expect too much though but there is good news. Around January 17-18, the T-square between Mars, Jupiter and Neptun brings setbacks and disappointments. Promises are not held, there is denial and what you longed for cannot be attained. If you are pregnant, pay attention to miscarriages now, especially when you are a pregnant woman born around February 6, May 8, August 10 or November 9. Mars, Jupiter and Neptune will remain in this T-square the whole month long denoting that certain acts are inappropriate and goals are out of reach and that you are being near a wrong course of action. Your expressions will miss the mark because they are too self-indulgent. There is a very strong idealism though. January 2006 may bring rumors, scandals and tricky legalisms in your love life and elsewhere. From January 20 till January 26, the Sun and Mercury conjoin one another in the early degrees of Aquarius. Be prepared to receive some sudden (breaking) news and messages. There is separation around January 27, especially when you are
born around April 28, July 31, October 31 or January 28. These days, you want to be alone to spend some time to study or do something more "serious." No time for love is the message.

Attraction versus Compatibility -- Part 6 - Solving Incompatibility Issues IIIn the 5th Part of our series about Attraction and (in)compatibility we discussed a highly successful way to solve incompatibility by changing your location (relocating).This time, we will discuss another major method that can and will solve incompatibility issues: changing your name. You may ask what the heck this has to do with astrology! A lot! But more in a minute. First, changing your name is not a daily event and often there are some juridicial actions to be taken if one wants to give the change an official character. However, it needs not be that profound. Sometimes it suffices to change your first name (take on a nickname or so) on condition that you (and everybody you meet) knows you by that nickname and you consistently and rigourously use that nickname. Most often, this will work too within a year or two. Women are advantaged, because most of all they will have the option to change their name when they marry (hopefully the right person because marrying the wrong person will mean changing your name to worse!). Your name is, aside from your birth information, the most personal information you have. It sticks to you, your body and soul. It vibrates with your body and soul. It's just about YOU. Your name is just a blend of vowels and consonants, each having a specific tone, frequency and energy. It's the same with the planets. They too send frequencies, tones and specific energies. Whether we talk about light, colors or sound, it are basically all the same energies and frequencies that can help and heal us, or that can kill us if not used properly. People have been changing their name as far back as one can remember. They took on stage names, nick names or whatever (many were writers, actors, artists, royalties). Often they used a particular and secret system based on numerology, alchemy, magic, astrology or the Kabala (think of Madonna). According to the Jewish Kabala the universe interacts from 22 astrological qualities: the 10 planets and 12 signs. Also, the Hebrew alphabet contains 22 letters vibrating to one of the 22 numbers, as follows: a = 1 (Mercury) In the English language the following letter combinations (double letters) vibrate to the following numbers: ch = 8 (Capricorn) The principle is that if the final number of your full name corresponds with a benefic and powerful planet in your natal chart, your name is a prosperous one. If the final number of your full name corresponds with a malefic and powerful planet in your natal chart, your name will take on the negative influences from that planet, bringing unlucky events and challenges in your love life. In that case you would do well changing your (first or full) name so that the final number of your total name corresponds with a harmonious planet in your horoscope. If you want to know if a planet is harmonious and powerful in your chart, we recommend using the Cosmodynes (discussed on our Compatibility scores page ) or any other scoring system that takes into account the planetary position in house, sign and aspect (e.g. the Lilly rating system, though this system does not list the modern planets beyond Saturn). How to proceed?
Example: Liv Ullmann Liv = 12 + 10 + 6 = 28 Liv Ullmann = 28 + 72 = 100 = 1 Liv Ullmann vibrates to number 1 which corresponds with Mercury. If Mercury is a harmonious planet in Liv's natal chart, then Liv's name is a prosperous one. If Mercury is a malefic in the natal chart, Liv's name will take on the negative influences from Mercury, bringing unlucky events. Liv would do well changing the first or, eventually, full name so that the final number corresponds with a harmonious planet in the natal chart. This way, by searching for another appropriate (first) name, you are able to bring about the positive and harmonious energies from your name, enhancing your love life. Women, also figure out what your single number is when you take on your husband's name! If the combination of his name is more prosperous than your maiden name, use it, otherwise keep your maiden name!!
