CosmiTec's Love Letter, Issue #042 -- Juno, The Marriage Asteroid? May 21, 2008 |
|
Hi Many wrote us to ask about our ongoing research projects. For some of you this stuff was way too complicated, others asked to incorporate such results in some software or add an online database so that visitors could check the results for them or others online. Some subscribers unsubscribed because of the publication of our research results. We apologize if our research results may have offended you (some people feel deeply hurt and/or shocked when free will is questioned), or if we made the Love Letter too complicated. It's our intention to bring astrology to a higher and more "scientific" level but this does not mean that everything has to be that complicated. From now on, we will publish some other articles beside our astrological research results to make our Love Letters less complicated and more accessible and "readable." Producing some software is a time-consuming effort that will take far more than a full year. Currently, we are trying to get our research findings in some existing astrology software programs but it's not clear yet IF our findings will be incorporated at all, depending on "the other's" priorities and interests. Anyway, in this instance too, bugfree programming is not done overnight. It will take a while before this might be available in a more comprehensive and convenient way. Sorry about that but in the mean time our research will continue! In this Love Letter, we print an article about the Asteroid Juno, since long requested by some subscribers. Also, we continue our series about the marriage year and in this installment we analyze female solar return charts, calculated for their year of marriage. Let there be Love! ********************************************

Love Forecasts for June 2008Around June 7, the sky clears up when the Sun conjuncts Mercury, the messenger and Mercury conjuncts Venus, planet of love at 17° Gemini. If you're born around January 8, February 6, March 8, April 7, May 8, June 8, July 10, August 10, September 10, October 10, November 10 or December 10 you're in for some positive and uplifting news. Send you lover some greetings or a gift. Communicate and share your love by any means. Around June 9 the Sun conjuncts Venus at 18° Gemini filling your heart with love. Excitement is around the corner when Venus at 22° Gemini squares Uranus at 22° Pisces around June 12. Love at first sight is possible but also note that Uranus is too unpredictable and detached to bond. Just enjoy the moment. We all need to learn to enjoy the moment without thinking too far ahead! The Sun too, still conjoining Venus, squares Uranus around June 13 while Pluto in its backward direction enters Sagittarius again for the last time. June 12-14 are marked by exciting events. Make fun. Around June 17-18 Mars at 21° Leo opposes the Moon's North Node and Venus at 29° Gemini opposes Pluto at 29° Sagittarius. This combo makes for some irresistible attraction and emotional and passionate moments during this powerful and intense Full Moon period. Venus enters emotional Cancer around June 18 while Mercury is going stationary, ready to turn direct again on June 19 at 12° Gemini. You might want to make some decicions now but don't push it if you're still indecisive (Gemini is not the most decisive sign!). Start something new. Around June 20-21 the planetary activity goes on with the Sun at 29° Gemini opposing Pluto at 29° Sagittarius and then entering Cancer. Mars at 24° Leo opposes Neptune at 24° Aquarius. Fruitless actions may lead nowhere so that you should be prepared for some deceptions. Uranus stations at 22° Pisces and turns retrograde around June 27. Unusual things and breakthroughs may happen now. There can be break ups and sudden changes too. However, be vigilant when you impulsively make decisions now as you may regret it later. Keep responsible. Try not to make irreversible changes in your life. If you want to push through, just fully consider all the consequences.

Juno, The Marriage Asteroid? Some astrologers incorporate the Asteroids in their work. However, using the 10,000s of existing Asteroids in a horoscope would be too much of a good thing. While it remains unclear yet how to find out the importance, strength and relevance of an Asteroid, it's beyond a doubt that they do work. There is too much evidence for it and if you want to know more about incorporating the Asteroids in your work, we recommend you study the fabulous works by Martha Lang-Wescott. Some other recommended authors: Emma Belle Donath, Demetra George, Nona Gwynn Press, Dave Campbell and others. We too use the Asteroids in our work, though sparely so and with a maximum orb of 1° (or less). In matters of the heart, there are many Asteroids that can be used. The most well-known are Juno, Hera, Eros, Cupido-A, Amor, Sappho, Lilith (NOT the Black or Dark Moon Lilith!) and Ophelia. In this article, we'll present Juno, one of the most used major Asteroids, gaining more and more interest. Juno was the Roman Goddess of marriage and childbirth. Hera was the Greek Goddess of marriage and childbirth. Juno was one of the most important deities and also associated with finances and her functions are much wider than those of the Greek Hera. In most textbooks, Juno is the metaphor for marriage and the marriage partner. This seems to be confirmed by our preliminary research findings, published in our previous Love Letter about the marriage year and the Solar Returns. The Sun conjunct Juno (orb 3°) is a statistically significant condition, found in solar return charts for the year of ones marriage. According to Martha Lang-Wescott, Juno represents what goes awry and Juno tests the level of commitment and attitude toward fidelity and marriage. Perhaps, that's why according to the Magi Society (a School in astrology) Juno is a sexual "planet" and is symbolic of the mistress, sex without commitment and the one-night stand. Our own research has NOT yet confirmed their findings. More research is needed here. Oppositions to Juno have the partner on the "other side of the desk" on a rather continual basis. The most exact aspect to Juno reveals something about your marriage life.
Your Marriage Year (Part II - Female Horoscopes)We continue our series about our preliminary astrological research findings of 163 solar return charts calculated for the year of marriage. In this part, we'll take a closer look at some significant findings in the solar return charts calculated for the marriage year of women.
Remarkable is the fact that the ruler of the 9th house (modern rulerships) is found in many configurations. The 9th house is the house of publicity and no doubt that a marriage is a public event. Also, the 3rd Quadrant is the Quadrant of relationships, partnership and marriage. It's NOT the 7th house alone. The German Schule Fuer Transpersonale Astrologie (TPA)(School for Transpersonal Astrology) has always claimed that a marriage is not a 7th house affair alone but rather a matter of the 3rd Quadrant, and especially of the 8th house. In their opinion, the 7th house is a cardinal air house, denoting that this house is the house of meetings and encounters. Everything and everybody you encounter as such and "as is" relates to the 7th house (principle of cardinal air). Cardinal signs don't bond, they just trigger, ignite and show what is there potentially. In the 8th house (representing the fixed water principle), you start to bond (the fixed house principle) and because it's a water house, you're bonding emotionally what you once encountered or met through the 7th house. A marriage is an emotional bond, denoting that it fits the 8th house principle. The 9th house is a mutable fire house. Mutable houses are communicative house, spreading what has been bond in the preceding fixed houses. Mutable houses make public, make visible one way or the other. The 9th mutable fire house spreads the word and makes public and visible what has been joined, connected ... in the 8th house (the marriage). So far, our preliminary research findings do seem to confirm the findings of the TPA School. At least in female solar return charts... To be continued...
