Love Forecasts for December 2011December 2011 will follow the path of November with more important events to unfold because of the current ongoing and powerful planetary activity. December will bring three planetary stations and an important planetary picture that will remain active the whole month long.Uranus and Neptune are at critical degrees the whole month long and will build a planetary picture in which the Moon's Node is involved. Because these are slow moving points, they act in the background and have no personal meaning, unless they are connected with personal planets and points in your own natal chart. Uranus, Neptune and the Moon's Node together represent different things though. First, Uranus and Neptune are always connected with immaterial and invisible things, with digital goods, the internet and invisible energies. They are linked with the 'spiritual world' and a mental state. Second, this combo is related to death(s) and a state of unconsciousness. Whenever the Moon's Nodes blend with both planets, it increases the odds of lots of people passing away around the same time for whatever reason (natural or other disasters, big accidents, calamities, massacres etc.). Third, the Uranus/Neptune combo is also related to floods and inundations, especially because they are at critical degrees representing inundations. We expect the three meanings to mark this month. Venus, planet of love, and Pluto, planet of power, conjoin at 6° Capricorn around December 1, reflecting the power of love. Love is now measured by your bank account, status and possessions. Mercury is conjunct the Moon's North Node around December 2 at 14° Sagittarius. Documents and information will become public and the word is out. If you are born around March 5, June 5, September 7 or December 6, there is nervousness around. It's a busy time with lots of discussions and formalities. Your thoughts may be on people who passed away or on plans that cannot be carried out for some reason. Around the same day of December 2, the Sun at 9° Sagittarius squares Mars at 9° Virgo. Mind your health and don't be too nitpicking around this day. There may be a lot of unpleasant work awaiting you but you will have to cope with it. The Sun conjuncts Mercury around December 4 at 11° Sagittarius and brings some sad news. There may be illness or even death separating you from others. You are in an argumentative mood and should mind your words. This is especially so if you are born around January 16, February 2, April 16, June 2, July 19, September 3-4, October 19-20 or December 3-4. Around December 6, the Sun and the North Node of the Moon conjoin at 14° Sagittarius. If you are born around January 19, March 5, April 19, June 5, July 22, September 7, October 23 or December 6, you may share sorrow and sadness with others. If you are born around December 6-7, your (solar return) year (counting from birthday to birthday) is marked by separations and leaving the place. A change of residence is likely. If you are born around January 4, February 17, April 3-4, May 19, July 5, August 22, October 7 or November 20 your love life is under severe tension around December 7. There is separation from a beloved one. It may become a tearful day. Around December 8, there is a fortunate development and breakthrough noticeable if you are born around this day. The result will affect your whole (solar return) year (counting from birthday to birthday). If you are born around January 20-21, March 6, April 20, June 6, July 23, September 8 or October 24 the influence will only be felt around this day of December 8. Uranus stations and turns direct again around December 10 at 0° Aries, the most pioneering degree of the zodiac. The station happens around the Lunar Eclipse at 18° Gemini so that it intensifies the Uranian energies of awakening. It's a groundbreaking and shocking configuration that may bring quite some revelations during this month. Stationing Uranus may bring incredible breakthroughs and discoveries, often related to 'a first'. Due to its stationing direct movement, Uranus is now slowly going to build an applying square to Pluto. Uranus will square Pluto exactly two times in 2012, bringing yet more shocking events and revolutionary breakthroughs in 2012. The outgoing square is one of taking action and bringing things out into the open. It's a forceful aspect, not a smooth one though, so that the friction will be felt. The upcoming Uranus-Pluto square will bring discomfort for sure, but that's always part of any big catharsis. The Lunar Eclipse at 18° Gemini points to short trips and travel. It's about leaving the place of residence, moving, changing the place, even if it's only temporary. It's an unsettling degree so that natural disasters and/or wild weather (floods) may be feared here and there and may be the cause of the change of residence. Around December 12, Mars at 14° Virgo squares the Moon's Node at 14° Sagittarius which denotes upsetting events that involve the armed forces. If you are born around March 5, June 5, September 7 or December 6, you may feel helpless and paralyzed. Things don't work out well these days. Illness is possible too. Try to meditate to find balance again. Mercury stations and turns direct at 3° Sagittarius around December 14. If you are born around January 9, February 22, April 8-9, May 24, July 11, August 27, October 11 or November 26, there is fortunate news. You are able to successfully make your point and convince others. Venus at 27° Capricorn squares its dispositor Saturn at 27° Libra around December 18. Actually, Venus and Saturn are in mutual reception because they rule each other's sign. There is heartbreak, separation and love's sorrow. This is not a loving combo, rather a very cold and detached one blocking all expressions of love that will affect you if you are born around January 17, April 17-18, July 20 or October 21. Around December 19, you may consider living together under one roof with your buddy. Make it cozy at home and enjoy the harmony with your family. Venus enters Aquarius around December 20 and feels free from the limiting and restrictive influences it experienced during the past weeks. The day after, around December 21, Venus at 0° Aquarius squares Jupiter at 0° Taurus resulting in breaking out, breaking free and enjoying your freedom. You're in the mood for a flirt -- and even more. If you are born around March 19, June 19, September 21 or December 19-20, you may feel ill around December 19-20. If you are born around these days of December 19-20, expect illness to be part of your whole (solar return) year (counting from birthday to birthday). Also, if you are born around January 20-21, February 19, March 21, April 20, May 21, June 21-22, July 23, August 23, September 23, October 23-24, November 22 or December 22 there are fortunate events (births, marriages, receiving gifts, parties...) happening between December 20-22. You may be overjoyed. Love is in the air. For the same birthdays of January 20-21, February 19, March 21, April 20, May 21, June 21-22, July 23, August 23, September 23, October 23-24, November 22 or December 22, the days between December 22-24 remain blissful and lucky. You're in a happy mood and feel blessed. The Sun enters Capricorn around the same day of December 22 and also squares Uranus at 0° Aries. You want to experiment, try something new and remove the borders and boundaries. If you are born around March 21, June 21-22, September 23 or December 22 you may feel lucky and happy around December 22/23. If you are born around this day, the influence will be felt throughout the whole (solar return) year (counting from birthday to birthday). Around Christmas, Jupiter stations and turns direct at 0° Taurus, the most material degree of the zodiac. You will feel a sense of renewed freedom and may start to feel less inhibited. Your confidence grows, especially if you are born under the zodiac sign of Sagittarius. This can be a very fortunate day but avoid excess and overindulgence, especially financially. Around December 26, Mercury and the Moon's Node conjunct at 13° Sagittarius for the second time this month. Expect nervous tension and a busy time with lots of discussions and formalities. Your thoughts may be on people who passed away or on plans that cannot be carried out for some reason. If you are born between March 3-6, June 3-7, September 5-9 or December 5-9 travel is in the air around December 26-29. There may be change of the residence too or doing home improvements. Perhaps you are planning to live together under one roof. Around December 29, the Sun and Pluto conjoin at 7° Capricorn bringing the focus on leaders/rulers of state, governments and higher-ups. Power struggles with the government are likely to occur. If you are born around February 2, March 19, May 4, June 20, August 6, September 22, November 6 or December 20/21, love's sorrow is likely to happen around December 31. You may not feel in the mood. s Node together represent different things though. First, Uranus and Neptune are always connected with immaterial and invisible things, with digital goods, the internet and invisible energies. They are linked with the Love Quotes of the MonthSo heavy is the chain of wedlock that it needs two to carry it, and sometimes three-- Alexandre Dumas -- The first duty of love is to listen -- Paul Tillich -- Marriage. Love And The Lunar NodesIn astrology, astrologers often use sensitive points that are actually no physical bodies like the planets and Asteroids but mathematical points. The Ascendant is one of these sensitive points, the Lunar Nodes is another example. What are the Lunar Nodes? The Lunar Nodes are also called the Moon's Nodes and always build a pair. Both points are always in opposition and called the Dragon's Head, the North Node (or Caput Draconis), Rahu in Indian astrology on the one hand and the Dragon's Tail, the South Node (or Cauda Draconis), Ketu in Indian astrology on the other side. The Moon's Nodes are the points where the Moon's orbit intersects the plane of the ecliptic. They have an average retrograde motion of about three minutes of arc per day and take about 18 years to complete a full cycle or revolution of the zodiac. Because the Moon's Nodes do not move at a predictable speed, they are calculated in two positions, the true position (which gives the exact position as the Moon crosses the ecliptic) and the mean position (which gives the presumed position based upon the average speed). We use both positions but have found the mean Node of the Moon to give better results when using a very very exact orb (0°00' - 0°01'). Do know that even the true position of the Moon's Node is not really true and exact as the true Node is only really exact at times that the Moon crosses the ecliptic twice a month. In between, the position is still approximate! The Meaning of The Nodes In the astrological literature, you will almost always read about the Nodes in a rather black-and-white style:
However, it's not that simple. Considering the Nodes are always opposite, it's difficult to claim that one side is always 'good' and the other side is 'bad'. Both Nodes always act together instantly, are one unit so it's not a 'either - or' combo like a seesaw. The Nodes are always remaining a pair representing a release (South Node) in favor of or to connect with something else (North Node). The primary principle behind the Nodes is one of connecting. The Nodes connect to whatever. They form a bond, build a link to different things (material or immaterial). To build a link or to connect, you automatically and instantly have to let go something else. The Nodes show what binds you with people, concepts, topics, events, interests etc. They show what connects you and what may hinder or promote your consciousness and evolution. No wonder that the Moon's Nodes are important in synastry when it comes to connecting with someone else. While the Moon's Nodes in the natal chart show the topics and areas of (dis)interest and what binds you, the Nodes in synastry point to what connects you with someone else (for good or bad). Our own research has shown that in the natal chart, the North Node points to what you like and what you want to be, whereas the South Node points to what you want to leave behind or what is not of interest (anymore). Also, the South Node clearly refers to the past, to the family and to your roots. The North Node refers to what you envision. Astrologers who look at the Nodes from an evolutionary point of view may have it right here: life unfolds from the South Node going to the North Node. Because the Nodes are sensitive points, they do not 'radiate' or emanate light. They only receive light and energies. The Nodes act like a catalyst and only become operative when aspected by other factors. As always, exact midpoints (45° dial/list or 8th Harmonic within 1° orb) in which the Moon's Node is found, work out powerfully. Aside from the midpoints, the exact conjunction and square are the most powerful. Then follow the trine and sextile. From all the many astrology schools that worldwide exist and that we know of, the natal interpretations of the Nodes by the Swiss API School (Astrologisch-Psychologisches Institut or Huber School) are the most spot-on, reliable and practical of all. The 18 year Cycle When you have the Moon's Nodes prominently (angular for example) or in a very exact aspect, the themes represented by the factors that are closely linked to the Nodes will manifest in a cycle of about 18 years. The Lunar Nodes in Synastry Some astrologers have found that synastric conjunctions to the South Node are not pleasant and point to past life connections. The partners meet again this lifetime because of 'Karmic debts'. The South Node person has to (re)pay to the planet person because of negative experiences. The South Node person owes the planet person a debt or a service from a past lifetime -- often in a material/financial way too. These astrologers also claim that if there is only a synastric South Node conjunction (and no North Node conjunction), the relationship will be one of (growing) aversion. We cannot confirm nor deny these claims. Our own research is not conclusive yet but the first research results suggest that other exact configurations (like exact midpoints that are most often overlooked or not taken into account) shed a better light on the relationship and its success or failure. We tend to go with the other astrologers that have found exact conjunctions (and aspects) to either the North or the South Node to be very important for a love relationship to exist. In other words, no love relationship without close Nodal contacts in the synastry. However, as such, the Nodes don't tell if the relationship will be successful or not. Karmic oriented astrologers claim that when there is a synastrical South Node conjunction without a synastrical North Node conjunction, it means the completion of the connection between the partners denoting that they will not meet any longer in the next life. If there is also a synastrical North Node conjunction the partners have met in past lifetimes and will still meet in future lifetimes. It represents an ongoing soul union. When there is only a North Node conjunction, the relationship is totally new and rewarding too, opening new frontiers and leaving behind old patterns.
