In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around October 3-4, October 11, October 17-18, October 25 and/or October 30-31. During this month of October 2015, one planetary configuration will affect some birthdays in particular: If you are born around January 30, March 15-16, April 30, June 16, August 2, September 18, November 2 or December 17 there is separation in the air. There can be physical issues that need to be addressed and for some of you a hospitalization is possible. The influences almost always affect the physical body in some way. If you are a pregnant woman, beware of miscarriages. Let's take a look now at how the month will unfold. The early October days can be accident-prone, violent and upsetting, in a mundane and general way. If you are born around February 4, March 21, May 5, June 21, August 7-8, September 23, November 7 or December 22 there is relief, optimism and enthusiasm you want to share and/or experience with others around October 4-5. However, if you are born around January 12, February 25, April 11, May 28, July 14, August 30, October 15 or November 29, the current astrological configurations suggest dissatisfaction, separation, disputes, health issues and/or feeling unrewarded around these days of October 4-5. You tend to enforce something in too aggressive a way and that's not the way to go. Around October 6 the Sun at 13° Libra squares Pluto at 13° Capricorn while Mars at 7° Virgo opposes Neptune at 7° Pisces. Won't you better take a day off? Clearly, both configurations oppose powerful forces, fight tyranny and oppression and are rebellious alike. There are protests and secret activities going on and you disagree with the way things go. Both configurations are very secretive and work behind the scenes in a fanatic and idealistic way. It's possible your remarks or actions are in vain and some of you may feel exhausted and/or tired and/or lack some zest. Venus enters Virgo, the sign of work and health around October 8. Perhaps love can be found at the working floor and the focus is now on beautification, interior decoration, home improvements etc. These influences will likely affect you most if you are born around January 6, February 19, April 5, May 22, July 8, August 24, October 9 or November 23. These birthdays may experience enjoyable, even thrilling moments and nice surprises then! From now on, Venus, Mars and Jupiter (soon to be followed by the North Node as well) all reside in the earth sign Virgo denoting windfalls and/or a possible boost in the (love) life of all earth signs (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn) this month and next month. Also, the water signs Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces too are favored by this earth stellium. If you are Libra, there can be some work behind the scenes and possible secret love affairs going on this month. Around October 9 Mercury stations at 0° Libra and turns direct while the mean North Node of the Moon enters Virgo. As usual, Mercury's station affects Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) most and they start to 'see' things more clearly now. Because of its direct motion, Mercury is now able to decide with more clarity and at 0° Libra, a 'critical' degree associated with agreements, contracts, popularity and social events, this is not a bad time to sign agreements/contracts or accept offers. Chances are you may encounter or meet new people around Mercury's station. On a mundane level, Mercury's stations are noted for increased strikes and protests. The North Node of the Moon changing signs is going to bring the attention to health issues and our working environment. As long as the North Node is in Virgo we will feel more connected to our diet, health, daily living circumstances, small animals, our working environment and fixing (the little) practical things. Venus at 1° Virgo squares Saturn at 1° Sagittarius around October 10. This waning square is a disappointing one. There can be money shortages, a lack of warmth (and love) and you feel restricted, isolated. Some of you may feel rejected and/or separated from a beloved one. This waning square is often called the aspect of scarcity and/or avarice. Also, in astrometeorology it is often associated with a cloudy atmosphere and cooler temperatures. Around October 11-12 the Sun at 18° Libra opposes Uranus at 18° Aries, upsetting a status-quo. This aspect can be very rebellious, breaking up and breaking free and only interested in its own agenda. It increases independent behavior rather than co-operating with others. If you are born around January 10, February 23, April 10, May 26, July 12, August 28, October 13 or November 27 you are facing unrequited love and/or love's sorrow around the October 13-14 New Moon. You may not feel well, feel inhibited, don't feel appreciated and/or there can be deluded love feelings. You're feeling down. Around October 16-17 Venus at 7° Virgo opposes Neptune at 7° Pisces resulting in unfulfilled wishes and longings. You may miss a(n) (absent) beloved one. This aspect is quite passive and is best lived by listening to music and/or doing meditation. Pay a tribute to the beloved ones that are not visible to us anymore. In matters of love, this opposition is very idealistic (and platonic), longing for Universal or Divine Love (rather than personal love) and there is a romantic mood involved. Beware of too much (unreal) imagination though, except when lived in an artistic or creative way. Mars and Jupiter conjoin at 14° Virgo around October 17-18 indicating decision-time. This conjunction is enterprising and prepared to take some risks to fight for its beliefs. Often, this combination marks 'the crusader' and 'protesters.' Also, you can succeed in taking action or fix some things. Between October 20-23 some of you can be in a creative, poetic or romantic mood while others may experience sadness, a period of weakness and/or personal chaos. You may mourn a loss or feel the victim of some situation. These influences will affect you especially if you are born around January 17, March 3, April 17, June 3, July 20, September 5, October 21 or December 4-5. The same time frame of October 20-21 also indicates successfully working alone, looking for and/or finding more personal freedom, facing difficult surrounding situations, especially so if you are born around January 21, March 6-7, April 21, June 7, July 24, September 9, October 24-25 or December 8. Mercury at 13° Libra squares Pluto at 13° Capricorn around October 22. This waning square suggests conflicts, protests (often in vain or with only minor results) and an always restless and fighting spirit. There is some slandering involved and you better watch your words. This waning square is best lived gathering information and knowledge instead of venting frustrations and obsessive thoughts. The Sun enters investigative and secret Scorpio around October 23 indicating more research, going to the bottom of things, becoming more intense with a single-minded focus and determination to dig deep. A self-contained attitude may help you out in whatever you do around October 24-25, especially if you are born around January 21, March 6-7, April 21, June 7, July 24, September 9, October 24-25 or December 8. Around October 25 Venus and Jupiter meet at 15° Virgo while Mercury at 17° Libra opposes Uranus at 17° Aries. The Venus-Jupiter conjunction at 15° Virgo, a 'critical' degree, implies high hopes and ideals. There are huge expectations and your imagination soars. The additional Mercury-Uranus opposition of breaking news shows the need to think differently. There can be contradictory messages and changes of mind or points of view. Around October 26 you are separated from a beloved one which is likely to affect you most if you are born around January 21-22, March 7, April 21-22, June 7-8, July 24-25, September 9-10, October 25 or December 8-9. The October 27 Full Moon period, which is a SuperMoon also, suggests some minor health issues, isolation, feeling misunderstood and/or a sense of being out of a group. If you are born around January 23, March 9, April 23, June 9, July 26, September 11, October 26 or December 10, these influences will especially affect you. There can be secret love affairs going on as well. Around October 30 there can be short trips, travel, changing the place and/or study work. As mentioned in the previous Love Letter, our new link-checking software indicated lots of broken links on our web site. We fixed them almost all by now (hundreds of pages were edited). Venus Mars TrinesIn our June 21, 2015 Love Letter (issue #127) we delineated the Venus-Mars quintile and bi-quintile aspects in the natal chart.This time we want to share our research pertaining to the natal Venus-Mars trine (aspect of 120°). When researching the meaning of aspects we only use a very tight orb of 1° because we're convinced it's the only way to find the essence of the aspects. Also, we make a difference between male and female charts, and when possible, differ between applying and separating aspects as well. We conduct our research with the help of the AstroDatabank which currently contains 50,000+ birth data. 1. The Venus Mars Trine in the FEMALE Chart General Meaning In general, women with a tight Venus-Mars trine in the natal chart have a very good taste and it comes as no surprise that they are into fashion, interior decoration etc. They are above average attractive and gorgeous. Some of them are child performers and no doubt they are creative. They are active from an early age and/or take important decisions from an early age and/or encounter life changing events early (before the age of 16 anyway). On average, women with a close Venus Mars trine have (a) (at least one) sister. Though they are active, they are timid or shy too. They are ambitious and that's what drives them. Often, they have 1 long-term and lasting relationship. A. The Applying Trine Women who have the applying Venus Mars trine have on average 2 children (of which one is a son). Above average, they have twins or triplets. These women do feel limited easily. They have a sister. B. The Separating Trine Women who have a tight separating Venus-Mars trine are more often into fashion. They may have a top executive position. 2. The Venus Mars Trine in the MALE Chart General Meaning In general, men with a tight Venus-Mars trine in the natal chart have a long-lasting relationship (or marriage). However, in numerous instances men with such an aspect can be quite cruel and are noted for killing their child (son or daughter), for being violent, rape or torture their kid(s). They seem to act out violence and aggression impulsively towards their children without any friction. Interestingly, this tallies with the meaning of the trine aspect (the aspect of rapid development without friction) and archetypal meaning of Mars! On average, they have at least one child (most often a daughter). The majority of the men with such a close trine experience heart failures or heart issues. They have 2 siblings. Most of the men are team workers or team players. Also, this trine aspect indicates lots of financial ups & downs. A. The Applying Trine Men who have the applying Venus Mars trine are team workers or team players. The applying trine seems to indicate wealth but with additional financial issues. Most often, the men with this applying aspect are top executives in businesses. They are the entrepreneurs in this world and have at least one son. B. The Separating Trine Men who have a tight separating Venus-Mars trine are self-employed above all. On average, they have at least one daughter and experience a lasting marriage (lasting over 15 years). They are heavy (body, weight) and rather 'short'.
