In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around April 6, April 12, April 19 and/or April 27. During this month of April 2016, a couple of planetary configurations will affect some birthdays in particular:
In general and on a mundane level, the 2nd half of the month is again marked by retrograde Saturn being at the Neptune/mean North Node of the Moon midpoint (45° dial/list, orb 1°). This suggests ongoing disappointments, feeling misunderstood and some issues establishing contacts with others. Also, beware of betrayal. Health issues are still part of the background influences this month. There is some sadness and agony going on and people may more openly feel hurt emotionally which will be more noticeable in this 2nd half of the month. Sociable Venus enters impulsive and selfish Aries around April 5. In this zodiac sign, Venus is in its detriment and thus feels quite uncomfortable. You may love to go your own way and want what you want, when you want it. There is a huge urge to be busy and start over (a relationship, a job or whatever...). In Aries, Venus loves a flirt because it wants to see if it's still desired and attractive for its own self-worth, not 'knowing' that self-love is more important than relying on the self-delusive love opinion or perception of others. Both Venus and Mars are now in fire signs, intensifying the love life of all fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius). Around the same period of April 5-6, Mercury enters inert and stubborn Taurus, focusing on financial issues and matters (documents). The entrance of Mercury in the earth sign Taurus is most often marked by security issues and changes of the place. Some of you may travel or make a trip while others do some home improvements. Beware of theft though and secure your home! If you are born around January 20-21, March 5, April 19-20, June 5, July 22-23, September 7, October 23 or December 6-7, this may especially apply to you. Around the same day of April 6 the Sun at 17° Aries squares Pluto at 17° Capricorn. This waxing square often suggests fanaticism, not willing to give an inch, showing a destructive atmosphere and mindset. Power issues may pop up. Prepare for sudden changes and increased awareness around April 9 when the Sun and unpredictable Uranus meet at 20° Aries. This can be a rebellious aspect but also one that brings insight and wants to move forward really fast. Expect surprises and/or surprising events/experiences. Mid April is marked by a Grand Trine in earth signs: Mercury in mid Taurus, Jupiter in mid Virgo and Pluto in mid Capricorn are all trine each other. This astrological configuration is a favorable one; bringing success in diplomacy, being able to persuade others, big and successful proposals, powerful leadership and persuasive mass speeches. Around April 17 Mars at 8° Sagittarius stations and turns retrograde. Overall, retrograde Mars diminishes the energy level and turns the energy flow inwards. This often results in more physical complaints on a personal level. Around the station in fiery and showy Sagittarius, people may become more angry, impulsive and/or impatient. Retrograde Mars shows a time to step back or slow down a bit. Moreover, during Mars' station, Pluto stations at 17° Capricorn around April 18 also and turns retrograde as well. Pluto's stations mark power struggles with or within the corporate world, governments, banking world etc. Retrograde Pluto is further digging underground in the earth sign Capricorn and will give us some new secret revelations when it turns direct again in September 2016. In some instances, this station and the accompanying astrological configurations may point to separation and/or death of someone during this station. Around April 19 the Sun enters stable and materialistic Taurus while Venus at 17° Aries squares stationing Pluto at 17° Capricorn. These very physical and materialistic configurations can be quite overwhelming and intense. Often, there is some fight to save one's possessions and/or physical well-being and/or comfort. In other words, around these days, your security needs can be severely triggered. Around April 20 there are disappointments and you may easily feel misunderstood. There may be some issues establishing contacts with others. Also, beware of betrayal. Health issues too are part of the background influences around these days. There is some sadness and agony going on and people may more openly feel hurt emotionally. This all will apply to you if you are born around January 23, March 7, April 22, June 7, July 24-25, September 9, October 25 or December 9. Venus and Uranus meet at 21° Aries, a degree of immigration, shipwreck, compulsory transportation and/or enforced migration, misfortune by accident or force, around the April 22 Full Moon period. Actually, this Full Moon is another SuperMoon which may result in some extreme weather here and there. Otherwise, the Venus-Uranus conjunction is a very exciting and enjoyable one that may bring sudden (short-lived) attractions and encounters, nice gifts or parcels and the like. Around April 24 you have to face some facts and the astrological conditions point to sobering influences. Some of you may feel some minor upset or dis-ease and chances are you won't fly too high because of some discomforting issues. You may feel limited. These influences will especially affect you if you are born around January 25, March 10, April 24, June 10, July 27, September 11-12, October 28 or December 11. Late April, and especially around April 27 there is an increased risk of health issues (blood, lung or liver disorders), dissatisfaction, financial losses and/or restrictions overall. On a mundane level, the influences that will last some months, point to austerity measures, a lack of growth in the world economy and financial restrictions. Mercury stations at 23° Taurus and turns retrograde around April 28. If you are a Gemini or a Virgo (or have a Gemini or Virgo Ascendant), things will not go that smoothly around the station. Chances are you don't feel at par or lack some zest now. Don't take any major decisions and try to wait till Mercury turns direct again around May 22. On a mundane level, Mercury's stations often go hand in hand with increased risks of strikes here and there. You will need some time alone and/or enjoy a cozy place in solitude around April 28-29, the more so if you are born around January 19-20, March 4, April 18-19, June 4, July 21-22, September 6, October 22 or December 5-6. Prepare for love's sorrow then. Venus enters its own sign Taurus around April 29-30 and becomes security-oriented and more possessive and materialistic alike. If you are born around January 20-21, March 5, April 19-20, June 5, July 22-23, September 7, October 23 or December 6-7, this Venus ingress marks betrayal, love's sorrow, sadness and/or separation from a beloved one, for whatever reason. The Marriage-Killing AspectIn Issues #128 (July 21, 2015) and #129 (August 21, 2015) we shared our research findings about the importance of the Venus cycle and long lasting marriages.We analyzed the marriage dates of the longest marriages ever and compared these with a data-set of marriage dates that ended in divorce. In our ongoing research, we analyzed 132 marriage dates of long-lasting marriages and compared them with 175 marriage dates that ended in divorce. Even though the data-sets are insufficient to build a theory on, some research results already come out significantly and that's why we want to give you some insight in our preliminary findings. When investigating all the possible minor and major astrological aspects between the planets, bodies and points with different orbs, the Venus-Mars aspects in the marriage horoscopes triggered our interest because there were some highly significant things going on here. Look at the graph below that shows the different aspects analyzed between Venus and Mars. The Green bars show the aspects found in the long-lasting marriages while the orange-red lines show the aspects found in the marriage charts that ended in divorce.
One would expect this aspect to be more prevalent in marriage charts ending in divorce. But what struck us most is the Venus-Mars semi-square (aspect of 45°)! Take a look at the graph; a HUGE number of marriage charts that ended in divorce have a Venus-Mars semi-square! Clearly, it looks like the Venus-Mars semi-square in a marriage horoscope may be a real marriage-killing aspect. It does not matter if you take a 1° or 3° orb into account (though we always love to work with tighter orbs). The aspect with a 1° orb was even not found in the marriage horoscopes of long-lasting marriages at all. Also, not a single conjunction was found in the marriage horoscopes of long-lasting marriages. So, our preliminary conclusion would be: avoid the Venus-Mars conjunction and semi-square in the marriage horoscope if you want to give your marriage a chance!
