In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around October 8, October 14-15, October 20-21, October 27-28. During this month of October 2016, a couple of planetary configurations will affect some birthdays in particular:
There are intense feelings of Higher (Universal) Love which cause you to be in a creative and artistic mood. Some of you may remember and honor absent loved ones because you are troubled by the loss of love. Around October 5-6 Mars at 5° Capricorn squares Jupiter at 5° Libra. This waxing square is an opinionated and presumptuous one, ever 'fighting' and quarreling in a forceful way. There is bold, blunt and bullying behavior going on. Also, legal issues are likely to pop up now. Around October 7, Mercury, the messenger, enters diplomatic Libra. There are agreements and new encounters with younger people. Enjoy a gathering or meeting. If you are born around February 5-6, March 21-22, May 6, June 22, August 8-9, September 24, November 8 or December 22-23, there is unrequited or one-way love around October 7. This can be a very artistic and creative period though so, time for photography, painting, sculpturing or whatever artistic projects are on your mind. If you are born around January 5, February 18, April 3, May 20, July 6, August 22, October 7 or November 21, there is a tremendous drive to success around October 7-8. You may experience great success and may find your best position in any situation with boundless enthusiasm. Expect a big break and something in full bloom. Mercury and Jupiter conjoin at 6° Libra around October 11. Someone is taking the lead and brings a successful or upbeat speech. There are sweeping statements that boost your confidence. Between October 11-13, there is lots of excitement and a possible thrilling and sudden turn of events. These current configurations will affect you most if you are born around December 29-29, February 10-11, March 26-28, May 11-13, June 27-29, August 13-15, September 29-30 or November 13-14. Around October 13-14 Mercury at 11° Libra squares Mars at 11° Capricorn. There is a lot of persuasion and promotion for some cause. Indeed, this period marks lots of leadership, organizing talent and publicity. Mid October promises to be a time of tremendous drive to success, public appeal and gains. These fortunate configurations will affect you most if you are born around January 2, February 15, March 31, May 16, July 2, August 18, October 4 or November 18. The Sun at 22° Libra opposes Uranus at 22° Aries around October 15. There are surprises coming our way, innovations, inventions and discoveries. Moreover, Mercury at 15° Libra squares Pluto at 15° Capricorn around the October 16 Full Moon. This denotes that this Full Moon conjuncts Uranus while the Mercury-Pluto square is active. This can be a very accident-prone combo indeed (especially related to transportation accidents) and you better be careful when taking the bus, train, etc. Beware of explosions or blasts because the Moon is void of course during this Full Moon phase. You may feel bad, disappointed or misunderstood around October 17-18. Also, it seems you are out of a group or family, may face a separation or divorce and cannot establish any contact with someone. In some instances, illness prevents you from being in touch with others also. This is the more so if you are born around January 15, February 28, April 14, May 30, July 16-17, September 1, October 17 or December 1. If you are born around this day of October 17-18, these configurations will work out during your whole (solar return) year (counting from birthday to birthday). Venus enters expansive Sagittarius around October 18, suggesting a carefree and generous attitude. Also, you are likely to attract more foreigners, people from different cultures and with different beliefs. Optimism starts to triumph for many and adventurous love affairs are part of this freedom-loving combo. Now is a good time to propose or socialize. Sudden windfalls and gains are a possibility too. If you are born around January 5-6, February 19, April 4, May 20-21, July 6-7, August 22-23, October 8 or November 22, these influences are likely to affect you most. Mars and Pluto conjoin at 15° Capricorn around October 19. This violent and turbulent combo at a so-called 'critical degree' cannot let go of the past and wants to go its own way in a forceful way, whatever it takes. There is lots of tenacious courage and giving in is not an option. You may feel isolated and find it difficult getting off the ground. Rage won't help you any further though... Around October 20 Mercury at 22° Libra opposes Uranus at 22° Aries. In mundane astrology, this degree area is associated with shipwreck making maritime disasters a possibility. Because both planets rule air signs, air traffic issues might be noticeable as well. Also, the Mercury-Uranus opposition can be tactless and contradicting points of view or messages. Between October 21-24 there is some pessimism and nervousness because you fear losses and/or separation. Between October 22-26 you feel disappointed, undecided, confused, betrayed, face (financial) losses or indulge too much, the more so if you are born around January 29-30, February 28, March 29-30, April 29, May 30, June 30-July 1, August 1, September 1, October 2, November 1 or December 31. In mundane astrology the current astrological pattern represents the uncovering of criminal organisations. Around October 23 the Sun enters Scorpio through the so-called 'gates of death.' It's time to revamp a situation clear out, to start over. Some information is kept strictly confidential and is not disclosed. Mercury too enters Scorpio through 'the gates of death' around October 24-25 reinforcing undisclosed information. Venus at 9° Sagittarius squares both Neptune and the mean North Node of the Moon at 9° Pisces around October 26 confirming the loss of a beloved one. Also, there are secret love affairs going on and/or you feel disappointed in someone. You want to be left alone, feel abandoned and/or betrayed and/or miss an absent loved one. The Sun and Mercury conjoin at 4° Scorpio around October 27 suggesting news about confinement, reclusion and/or withdrawal of someone. Around October 27- 28 there is love's sorrow and/or sadness. You still are separated from a beloved one. Mars at 21° Capricorn squares Uranus at 21° Aries around October 29. This accident-prone and violent waning aspect often indicates physical injuries. Avoid situations of anger and upheaval and try to vent dissatisfaction peacefully. Around the October 30 New Moon Venus and Saturn conjoin at 14° Sagittarius, denoting travel for work separates you from loved ones. There can be love's sorrow and/or unrequited love also. Also, there seems to be legal issues that cannot be resolved yet because you tend to disagree with the conditions or small print. Meetings may be cancelled, disturbed and/or disrupted. Taking decisions is not easy at all late October. One Way Love RevisitedIn the past we published an article on our web site about the astrological indications of 'One Way Love.'We have found that planets in the natal chart of one partner conjunct one of the angles in the chart of the other partner point to one way love. Our continuous investigations now have shown that a second configuration also brings up the issue of unrequited love or one way love. This second configuration too is based upon the natal planets of one partner and the Ascendant of the other partner. We discovered that when natal planets of partner 1 aspect the Ascendant of partner 2 AND NO planets of partner 2 aspect the Ascendant of partner 1, there is one way love. In such a case only partner 2 is attracted to partner 1 while partner 1 does not feel anything for partner 2. The important rule that follows this principle can be written as follows: The planet partner (sub- or unconsciously) triggers the Ascendant partner. If planets of both partners aspect each other's Ascendant, there is a reciprocal force or energy that brings mutual attraction and interaction between both -- for good or ill. If just and only one partner's planets aspect the Ascendant of the other, there is only interaction coming from the planet partner and hardly any interest or attraction will come from the other (Ascendant) partner. This results in one way 'love.' If the aspects are disharmonious or challenging (lots of (semi-)squares, for example), the interaction may be a bumpy road. If, on the other hand, the aspects are harmonious and fluent (like all sextiles or trines), the interactions are more agreeable and enjoyable, though a little detached.
