In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around July 6, July 12-13, July 18 and/or July 25-26. During this month of July, the following planetary configurations will affect some birthdays in particular:
Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished. Around July 4 Mercury conjoins the mean Lunar North Node at 7° Leo. Usually, contacts between Mercury and the Lunar Nodes indicate a very busy time with lots of buzz, movement, nervous tension. If you are born around January 27, March 12-13, April 27-28, June 13, July 30-31, September 15, October 30-31 or December 14, there is a fortunate break and you may enjoy enthusiasm and optimism with friends or others. This can be a successful day for you. Around July 5 you still feel blessed and lucky. This is a good day for a date or to enjoy whatever fills your heart. Around the same day of July 5, Mercury at 8° Leo opposes Mars at 8° Aquarius suggesting (physical) injuries, most often because of traffic and/or transportation accidents, cuts and wounds. Also, harsh and sharp speeches should be avoided. Communication can be decisive and combative with possible arguments as a result. Around July 9 Mercury at 13° Leo squares Jupiter at 13° Scorpio, pointing to unreliable communication and/or information. Negligence, carelessness and irresponsibility are noticeable. This waning square in fixed signs is not always honest so beware of disappointments, the more so because you may have the wrong faith or feel the victim of people who know how to "sell" stuff. The attentive reader will have noticed that when transiting Mercury first opposed Mars and after that squared Jupiter between the period of July 5-9, Jupiter must be the apex planet of a T-square in fixed signs. The apex planet Jupiter in Scorpio suggests that during the 2nd week of July, dogmatic and opinionated theories become apparent. In this position, Jupiter's sense of rightness becomes rather intolerant and willful. Because Jupiter stations and turns direct around July 10, the influence of this T-square will become very noticeable. Jupiter rules legal affairs, increasing the odds of some legal issues (about fraud, financial issues or issues of abuse) emerging again. Around the same day of July 10 Venus enters Virgo, the sign of its detriment. In modest and subordinate Virgo, Venus loves kindness. In discriminating Virgo, Venus is also critical and loves tiny objects. Love may be found at the working floor as long as Venus resides in this sign of your working environment. Venus is now about to trine Uranus and Saturn, building a Grand Trine in Earth signs. For the coming days, this Grand Earth Trine may bring some financial stress and tension. Because Venus not only rules money or cash but also relationships (in the widest sense), lots of relationships or partnerships tend to experience some stress and nervous tension as well. Some couples will break-up or consider living separately. The nervous tension will dissipate after mid July. The July 12-13 Solar Eclipse at 20° Cancer is an extremely powerful one, because it also opposes intense Pluto at 20° Capricorn. This Eclipse belongs to the 2 Old North Saros Cycle and is, following the research by the brilliant and meticulous astrologer Bernadette Brady part of a difficult eclipse family... It points to unfortunate news concerning friendships or relationships. Many will experience separation or the ending of a union. However, she also states that the theme of this eclipse is "action concerning personal relationships" (fast action can bring good results). Bernadette Brady's findings are confirmed and even reinforced by the current position of the eclipse at 20° Cancer, a very powerful degree suggesting "dying love", love at a distance, a painful separation, miscarriages or abortions, "finally getting away from the mother", intense unfulfilled longings, a process of a painful regeneration and highly annoying issues that affect the digestive system. Some of you may give up some struggle, face loss through others or will sacrifice something dearly. The current astrological configurations too talk about an unbearable sadness and/or tearful event(s) that some of you may face. Clearly, this Solar Eclipse may bring some hardship during the next 6 months and may especially affect you if you are born around January 11, February 24, April 10, May 27, July 13, August 29, October 14 or November 28. If you are born around January 13-14, February 26-27, April 12-13, May 29-30, July 15-16, August 31-September 1, October 16-17 or November 30-December 1, you may love to be (left) alone, do some home improvements or home decorations, enjoy home alone time, and/or face a love affair between July 16-18. Mars at 6° Aquarius opposes the mean North Node of the Moon around July 18. We mentioned it in our June forecasts already, during these mid-year months, Mars is closest to the earth, has its most powerful influence on our lives and creates a lingering conjunction with the Lunar South Node, which is a violent and "bloody" combo. Mars and the Lunar Nodes together always denote mass events with casualties, physical injuries and the like. During the powerful and separative Solar Eclipse, this Mars-Lunar Node combo does not bode well and reinforces mass tragedies. If you are born around January 16, March 1, April 16, June 1, July 18, September 3, October 19 or December 3, there is a chance of love at first sight and highly creative or artistic revelations between July 18-20. If you are born around January 18, March 3, April 18, June 3, July 20, September 5, October 21 or December 5, intense and groundbreaking love contacts or encounters are possible between July 20-22. There is the likelihood of intense and irresistible attraction, but, in some instances, the current astrological configurations may get a fated undertone and result in abuse, rape, or even murder. In a less tragic way, the configurations may indicate the death of a woman in your environment. Around July 22 the Sun enters its own sign Leo suggesting more self-consciousness but also a more playful attitude. Venus at 16° Virgo opposes Neptune at 16° Pisces Around July 24. Venus-Neptune oppositions reflect a dissolving bond, a beloved one who is absent and/or a relationship lived in a platonic way. The day after, around July 25 the Sun at 2° Leo squares Uranus at 2° Taurus suggesting rebellious traits. This waxing square in which the Sun is the stronger because it's in its own sign Leo, reflects the fight between an autocrat (the Sun) and a democrat (Uranus). It denotes dissatisfaction with groups or societies that one wants to reform; resulting in protest and tension. Around July 26, Mercury stations and turns retrograde at 23° Leo. Mercury's station affects Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) most and may bring some restrictions, some minor health issues and things not going always as expected. As usual, postpone taking important decisions till Mercury turns direct again, around August 19, and if possible after it passed its shadow side around September 3. The Century’s longest Lunar Eclipse at 4° Aquarius on July 27 is a highly powerful one because it is exactly conjunct Mars at the same numerical degree. While the previous Solar Eclipse was opposite Pluto, this Lunar Eclipse is conjunct retrograde Mars (which is thus still very close to planet earth and has its most powerful influence now). The Lunar Eclipse is told to last for a whopping 1 hour and 43 minutes but if this has any astrological significance is open for discussion. This lunar eclipse is primarily visible from the world’s Eastern Hemisphere (Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand). This Lunar Eclipse points to irresistible physical attraction and love at first sight, on the one hand, but high tension, fights, accidents and physical injuries on the other side. Generally speaking, this Lunar Eclipse at 4° Aquarius denotes lots of impulses, activities, things that are initiated or ignited (for good or ill). If you are born around January 24, March 9-10, April 24-25, June 10, July 27, September 11-12, October 27-28 or December 11, this Lunar Eclipse might affect you most. The Sun and the mean North Node of the Moon meet at 5° Leo around July 29. This conjunction suggests lots of self-esteem, meeting or encountering someone of importance and a focus on connecting with a male person. If you are born around January 28, March 13-14, April 28, June 14, July 31, September 16, October 31 or December 15, there is love at first sight, a proposal and/or childbirth around July 31. There are happy feelings and it may be a successful day today. If you are born around January 21-22, February 20-21, March 22-23, April 22-23, May 23-24, June 23-24, July 25, August 25-26, September 25-26, October 25-26, November 24-25 or December 24, beware of a very sudden change of course around July 31. There may be incidents, accidents, blockages, disturbing, disrupting and upsetting influences coming your way because of the upcoming Mars-Uranus square at 2° in fixed signs (that will last well into the first week of August). Uranus is the dispositor of Mars in Aquarius denoting that this turbulent square will be felt and may bring some physical injuries here and there too. Retrograde Venus in the Male Natal ChartsIn the previous Love Letter we delineated the position of retrograde Mars in the natal chart of women.This time, we go the opposite direction and delineate the position of retrograde Venus in the natal chart of men. In our research, we made a difference between day and night births. Our workflow was the same, all the results were obtained and analyzed with the help of the AstroDatabank. No control groups were used though and no statistical results shown; it's mere empirical research and finding common traits that jump out powerfully. Retrograde Venus and Day births (the Sun in the houses 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12) Most often, retrograde Venus is found in charts of highly sexual men. Many men born during the day with retrograde Venus may experience heart issues/disease. On average, they have 2 or 3 kids and have a robust or hardy constitution. However, many of these men experience surgery, many accidents and injuries. Men with retrograde Venus are interested in science (be it physics, chemistry, paleontology, geology, etc.). Also, they are very talkative. If the Sun is in the 7th house, they may be a party animal and very sociable indeed. Most of them have siblings. With the Sun in the 8th house men with retrograde Venus on average have 1 or 2 kids (at least one daughter) and are highly artistic. The Sun in the 9th house is often an indication of energetic, persistent and even brash men who often love speed. If the Sun is found in the 10th house, the men are often interested in politics or business owners or top executives in management roles. Above average they have a noted father. The Sun in the 11th house suggests a temperamental man with many health issues (be it physical or psychological). If the Sun is in the 12th house, the men are sociable, gracious and may be very outdoorsy. No wonder there are many moves, travel and they may be expatriates. Retrograde Venus and Night births (the Sun in the houses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6) Retrograde Venus in a male night birth chart suggests someone who works in team or with others. The man is often charitable or a philanthropist at heart and loved by many and amicable. Men born at night with Venus retrograde hold the same job for long. They may travel for work or be an expatriate. They can be temperamental. If the Sun is in the 1st house, these men have metaphysical interests and may have odd sexual preferences, perversions or fetishes. With the Sun in the 2nd house, these men above average have one lasting marriage and are most often widowed. If the Sun is in the 3rd house, a temper is not uncommon even though they can be sociable. Interestingly, these men don't reveal everything. If the Sun is in the 4th house, men born at night with Venus retrograde experience lots of parental and/or domestic stress (traumatic events like the tragic death of a parent, wife or child). They are principled strongly and above average divorced. If the Sun is in the 5th house, they have at least one long-lasting marriage, even though they may be married different times.
