In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around October . During this month of October, the following planetary configurations will affect some birthdays in particular:
Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished. Venus at 20° Libra squares stationing Pluto at 20° Capricorn around October 1. This waning square suggests being submissive and/or following a lover blindly so to "receive" (enforce) love. Whenever stationing Pluto is in the picture, some (extreme) force or power is involved, resulting in some clashes and challenges to overcome. Love cannot be bought, nor can it be enforced or imposed. You cannot be the slave or doormat of another nor can you sacrifice yourself to "please" another. This aspect may go as far as sacrificing oneself completely "in the name of love." Around October 3, Pluto stations and turns direct again at 20° Capricorn while Mercury enters Scorpio through the so-called "gates of death" (0° Scorpio). Anytime Pluto stations in the earth sign of Capricorn, representing the surface, borders and boundaries, masks, fences etc., some earthquakes (or earth-related disasters) are to be expected around the station. Also, when Pluto turns direct again, it is surely going to bring up all that it has been investigating during the past retrograde period. Hence, stationing direct Pluto is going to reveal a lot of new information that was previously kept hidden, "below the surface." It will likely be a time for new revelations and scandals. When Mercury enters Scorpio, we have found this to coincide with severe train, traffic or other transportation accidents, resulting in many casualties. Also, This ingress marks the beginning of some new chapter that needs regeneration. A situation is cleared out to start over. Mars enters Libra, the sign of its detriment around October 4 and suggests a period of difficulties in adapting to some external situation, to someone else or to some other people. In the sign of relationships (in the widest sense), Mars battles over (perceived) injustices and legal issues may be on the agenda. Arguments, discord and unrest might be part of your environment and/or experience as long as Mars is in Libra. Around October 5 and 6, there are clouds in the sky. A more turbulent and separative period is indicated between October 5-9. On the one hand, the Sun at 12° Libra squares the Lunar Nodes around October 6, while Mercury at 5° Scorpio opposes Uranus at 5° Taurus around October 7, the Sun at 14° Libra squares Saturn at 14° Capricorn around October 7 and Venus enters the sign of its detriment around October 8. In short, during this time frame, the Sun builds the apex body of a T-square that involves the Saturn/Mean Lunar North Node opposition while Venus, planet of relationships and beloved ones (in the widest sense) enters the so-called "gates of death." This is truly a separative period during which we will be urged to let go a beloved one in whatever way. The Mercury-Uranus opposition reflects the breaking news, the telephone call or sudden news that will urge to change the mindset and bring new awareness. You may prefer solitude, set yourself apart. This period is about being alone, avoiding contact and/or keeping a low profile. Around October 12, expect a very hectic and tense time and sudden reversals. Around October 12-13, there is irresistible attraction and strong excitability in love. This can be a period of increased sexual experimentation and some (dangerous ?) liaisons to grow. This will be the more so if you are born around January 25-26, February 24, March 26, April 25-26, May 26-27, June 27, July 28-29, August 28-29, September 28-29, October 29, November 27-28 or December 27. Around the October 13 Full Moon period, Venus at 5° Scorpio opposes Uranus at 5° Taurus, indicating exciting and joyful surprises, gifts, parcels, presents, love messages etc. If you are born around January 25-26, February 24, March 10-11, March 26, April 25-26, May 26-27, June 10-11, June 27, July 28-29, August 28-29, September 12-13, September 28-29, October 29, November 27-28, December 12-13 or December 27, the current auspicious astrological configurations will affect you most. For some of you, short-lived enjoyable attractions may occur. Around the same October Full Moon period, the Sun at 20° Libra squares stationing Pluto at 20° Capricorn, denoting stationing Pluto is the apex body of a T-Square that encompasses the Full Moon. Clearly, this will be an intense and regenerative Full Moon (for good or ill). It's about a start-over, letting go, about mass events, about some enforced situations, survival, about power conflicts and emotional turmoil. Around October 14, on a personal level, there is jolly great good luck, a fortunate development and/or a big fulfillment. If you are born around January 10-11, February 9, March 11, April 10-11, May 11, June 11, July 13, August 13, September 13, October 13, November 13 or December 12-13, you will feel the current auspicious energies the most. However, on a mundane level and generally speaking, around the same day of October 14, there can be maritime issues, issues with ships, water-related issues but also theft, secrecy, working behind one's back, treacherous activities etc. There is some sense of loss, of being let down and also a depressed or somber mood. Around October 19 and 21, the are clouds in the sky. Mars at 11° Libra squares the mean Lunar Nodes around October 22. Here we go again with a violent and bloody combo that is active in the 2nd half of the month of October. Regular readers of our monthly forecasts already know for a longtime now that any Mars- Lunar Nodes aspect indicates violent and explosive events that affect a group of people and results in casualties and injured people (like mass shootings, tragic accidents etc.). This is emphasized by the entrance of the Sun in Scorpio through the "gates of death" around October 23. Some emotional turmoil is likely to be part of the coming days and weeks. Intensity is likely to build up, resulting in more (emotional) upheaval here and there. From October 26 on, the true Lunar North Node is at 10° Cancer, the degree of the July 2 Solar Eclipse. Whenever the Lunar Node is at the degree of the Solar Eclipse, it will trigger and activate the meaning of the Eclipse. Mind though that the mean Lunar North Node will be at 10° Cancer in November 2019, denoting that late October and November will trigger the Eclipse in many ways. We, at Cosmic Technologies, have found the mean Lunar Node to be more important or powerful BUT we do not say that the true Lunar Node position is not important and it's possible we will see some indications of what November will bring or be about. We recommend you read our July 2019 forecast again to grasp the meaning of the Solar Eclipse. Mars at 15° Libra squares Saturn at 15° Capricorn around October 27. This waning square at so-called "critical degrees" is a difficult one and may bring hardship, heavy oppression, the inability to push through, censorship, fighting windmills, facing setbacks etc. Health may be compromised as well and this aspect indicates dissatisfaction overall. For some of you, there will be no work and you better take a day off in advance. In some instances, this waning aspect suggests clashes and severe crashes (traffic or transportation accidents for example) too, the more so because of those critical degrees that suggest not being able to respect boundaries or some distance (literally or figuratively). Around the October 28 New Moon period, the Sun opposes disruptive Uranus. This is a highly upsetting New Moon that creates awareness and shocks, so much so that some of you may get a really cold shower. This is actually the New Moon of a collapse, financially speaking or otherwise. On a more uplifting note, it's a very artistic and creative New Moon period that is best suited to attend and enjoy music concerts. Also, metaphysical topics and the supra-natural may be in the news and bring increased awareness. Mercury stations at 27° Scorpio and conjoins Venus at the same time, around October 30-31 that is. Geminis and Virgos, as well as Gemini and Virgo Ascendants, may not feel too well around the station. Things may not go as planned and there can be some minor health issues. Time to keep a low profile and don't take any major decisions. Generally speaking, Mercury's station at 27° Scorpio suggests news about a fortunate development, a marriage, a promotion, childbirth, a change for the better anyway. Natal Mars Neptune ConnectionsIn the past we have written many times about different planetary connections, analogies or affinities, mainly containing the love planet Venus.We also started analyzing Mars connections and have written about the Mars-Jupiter, Mars-Saturn and Mars-Uranus connections before. This time, we want to delve deeper into the Mars-Neptune connection. When do we have a Mars-Neptune connection, theme or analogy? In most cases, the following configurations are used (there are more though (!) but this would lead us too far and make it more complicated than necessary):
What does the Mars-Neptune connection signify? Mars and Neptune have totally different archetypal qualities and characteristics. Mars is linear, direct (blunt) and open (the Primal Male) while Neptune is non-linear, less open and more covert. This combo results in some difficulty expressing oneself in an upfront way. You have to be able to "interpret" the actions and activities of the native to find out about the inner urges and drives. The water planet Neptune is able to extinguish the fire planet mars in many ways and because Neptune is a heavier and slower (generational) planet than Mars, the water traits most often dominate and steer Mars in a more obscure, undercover more secret way. People with a powerful Mars-Neptune connection may not be 1st-line "fighters", but rather prefer working at the sidelines in a less or even non-competitive environment. They may prefer working in solitude and often shun the limelight. There is something, some (past) experience, that prevents them from living their urges and desires to the full in unrestricted ways. They are more subtle in pushing through their urges and they tend to direct energy inwards instead of outwards. This connection may thus indicate self-sacrifice at best, but self-destruction at worst. People with a predominant Mars-Neptune connection often experience or face energy drain, periods of energy depletion and a lack of zest (often accompanied by muscle weakness). They can be paralyzed easily by external situations or experiences. Hence, it's as if their Self (represented by Mars) is somehow dissolved, weakened, flooded by Neptune's energies and it's often noticed that people with such a predominant connection easily become overruled by or even a victim of some external situation or other people. This connection is one part of the chain that may result in "I-dentity" loss. People with powerful Mars-Neptune connections tend to silently allow other people or external situations to steer or shape their life (even if they don't like it). People with this connection have it difficult to take hard decisions also. Their actions work out in a more diffused and/or indecisive way (even though they are perfectly able to decide for themselves, they only cannot out their decision upfront). People with a powerful Mars-Neptune connection love to hide their actions and activities. At worst, this indicates illicit dealings, working behind the back and/or underground activities. In matters of love and romance, people with such a powerful connection need to learn to vent their anger, frustration and share their activities more openly to avoid building up tension.
