In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around May 5, 12-13, 18-19 and/or 25. During this month of May there is one specific planetary configuration of stationing outer planets that might affect some birthdays in particular.
Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished. In the 45° dial, there are a couple of powerful midpoint combos between outer planets going on that will be exact this month and that will mark this month's Zeitgeist. First of all, there is the Saturn/Pluto midpoint hitting the Jupiter/Neptune midpoint (SA/PL = JU/NE). Additionally, Pluto hits the Jupiter/Saturn midpoint (PL = JU/SA). The powerful SA/PL = JU/NE midpoint is indicative of, among others, lots of bankruptcies (this one is almost a given), severe financial losses or expenses resulting in hardship, power conflicts because of ideological reasons and beliefs, fanatically enforcing one's own beliefs or ideology. The PL = JU/SA midpoint indicates, among others, renovations and (re)construction work, demolishing and/or remodeling buildings, to control a situation, the extreme perseverance, to do the utmost to reach a goal, the destruction of real estate, the profound changes in the social order and society, the harshness of the social and/or economic system, the total reversal to plans previously made. On a more personal level, the latter meanings may apply to you this month if you are born around January 18, March 4, April 18, June 4, July 21, September 6, October 21-22 or December 5. Around May 1, there are clouds in the sky. This is a great day for a date though or meeting new interesting people. There can be powerful attractions in the air indeed. Around May 2, reactive Venus enters active Aries, pointing to instant attractions. Often, relationships get a selfish undertone and chances are you just want to find out how attractive you (still) are. There is love for the Armed Forces and for rather pushy and commanding people. You may love to be busy and tackle things head on. Between May 3-6, there are sudden U-turns and possible accidents. Be aware of disruptions during these days. If you are born around January 4-5, February 3, March 4-5, April 4, May 4-5, June 4-5, July 6, August 6-7, September 7, October 7-8, November 6-7 or December 6, the current astrological configuration affects you most. On a mundane level, protests, demonstrations and strikes are possible too -- even clashes and turmoil. The Sun and freedom-loving Uranus conjoin around May 4-5 at 14° Taurus, a degree area related to freedom-driven urges connected to the herd or community and/or issues about stability and security. It often coincides with material and/or financial crisis situations and losses. Regaining freedom often demands to get rid of material goods or may come at a (financial) cost. Following mundane astrology, this conjunction at 14°-15° Taurus might show turmoil and disruptions for a large group of people with material and/or financial consequences. In other words, material damage, damage to property because of natural disasters, earthquakes, storm, blackouts etc. is to be expected as well. If you are born around February 8, March 25, May 10, June 26, August 12, September 27, November 11-12 or December 26, you may experience heartbreak, tension in your love life and/or may be separated from a loved one around May 6. If you are a woman, you may face some health challenges too. Around May 8, you may meet or encounter interesting people and it's a good day to relate or have or go on a date. Around May 10, Mercury at 4° Gemini stations and turns backward. As usual, stationing Mercury above all influences Geminis and Virgos most (as well as Gemini and Virgo Ascendants), resulting in feeling down or lacking zest or experiencing things that don't go as wished for. There might be some health issues as well. It's not recommended to make any decisions right now and you better wait till Mercury turns direct again around June 3. Following mundane astrology, stationing Mercury often coincides with strikes, protests and manifestations, the more so when Mercury stations in Gemini. Additionally, expect transportation and traffic issues or disruptions here and there. Communication in whatever way or form may go awry and you may have to rewrite or reconsider texts, analyses, reports etc. Around the same day of May 10, there are clouds in the sky. Expansive Jupiter enters pushy Aries around the same day of May 10-11, suggesting some publicity, important publication and/or announcement that gets lots of (worldwide) attention. Jupiter feels very well in Aries as they both share the same element and energetic drive. There is a lot of (self-)promotion and even propaganda going on. Around May 12, there are sunny spells. The Sun conjoins the true Lunar North Node at 22° Taurus around May 13, pointing to an unstable period (actually, the whole month is unstable but around this period it's coming to a climax). Emotions tend to run high and in Taurus, the sign of a ruminant, things take time to process and assimilate. Following astrometeorology, any period during which the Sun is conjunct or square the Lunar Nodes, there is an increased risk of floods, inundations and/or natural disasters due to tidal effects. This can be an uncomfortable period during which our comfort zone can be hit here and there. There are sunny spells also around this day of May 13. Around May 15, there are clouds in the sky. Around the same day of May 15-16, the Sun at 24° Taurus squares Saturn at 24° Aquarius while a Lunar Eclipse at 25° Scorpio is active too. This means that Saturn actually squares the (perigee) Full Moon. When analyzing this particular mid May astrological configuration, we get the following pieces of the puzzle:
From this point of view, this powerful configuration indicates, among others, sadness, to feel down, to be restricted, the delays, the lack, to share sorrow, the loss or lack of energy, the separation, the inhibitions, to renounce or to give up something (or someone), the restrictions preventing progress. In fixed signs in which restrictive Saturn is the apex planet, this T-square is quite rigid and intensely purposeful and very fixated on exercising tight control over people and situations. There is rigid control over material goods and money/finances as well (the Taurus-Scorpio axis is always related to money and possessions). Defensive inhibitions tend to result in emotionally stifling relationship issues (in the widest sense). The 24°-25° degree area in fixed signs tends to coincide with difficult living circumstances and situations that are meant to tear you away from "the old" and bring you to "the new." Hence, this configuration will enforce or impose moves, changing the residence, trying out something new (like a new career or job, new hobby, new relationship etc.). It might break up your comfort zone. This degree area is one of the transition (and "gypsy") degrees, indicating being on the move and/or not feeling "at home" anywhere and lots of things starting to move with changes happening all over. New horizons await you after this configuration, and if you are flexible and willing to let go old habits and situations asap, this transition will go more smoothly because the changes will come anyway (in an enforced or imposed way). These are not comfortable degrees at all because you may feel stuck between the devil and the deep sea for the moment, tearing you apart. Some of you might feel quite uprooted. Understand that sticking to the old (the past) will increase tension and stress unnecessarily. Following astrometeorology, this SuperMoon configuration increases the odds of natural disasters, floods, inundations and storm tides etc. Mars and Neptune conjoin at 24° Pisces around May 18, suggesting a period of a lack of zest and wasted energy, whatever you try or do. Some of you may be shocked, paralyzed and the best is to not waste your energy and just let things go. If you are born around January 14-15, February 13-14, March 14-15, April 14-15, May 15-16, June 15-16, July 16-17, August 17-18, September 17-18, October 17-18, November 16-17 or December 16-17, health issues may keep you down. This degree area often coincides with strikes, protests and manifestations on a mundane level. Also, Mars-Neptune combos often coincide with (wild)fires. Around May 20-21, the Sun enters Gemini, indicating lots of travel, being on the move, making trips, changing the place often. Some of you may meet or contact a sibling or neighbor. This is the more so because the Sun and retrograde Mercury conjoin at 0° Gemini around the same day of May 21. You may encounter someone you have not met since quite some time. Retrograde Mercury re-enters Taurus around May 23, pointing to some sad news because Mercury is currently at the Fixed Star of the weeping sisters. Expect bills or invoices to be paid still. Around the same day of May 23, there are clouds in the sky. Mars enters its own sign Aries around May 24-25, presenting an active time with lots to do. However, with a stellium currently in Aries (there are 4 bodies in Aries: Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Chiron), late May marks a treacherous period if you are Taurus or have Taurus rising. Take care of your health and some confinement, isolation or seclusion might be likely. There is quite something going on behind your back and/or behind the scenes. Following mundane astrology, there may be interventions by "the Armed Forces" around this ingress of Mars. Around the same day of May 25, there are sunny spells. Venus at 28° Aries squares Pluto at 28° Capricorn around May 27. Venus is the weaker of the two because it's in the sign of its detriment and thus less advantaged. Some of you may feel rejected, treated like garbage and left "in the cold." Any square between Venus and Pluto indicates either power conflicts in relationships (in the widest sense) and/or some kind of (financial) blackmail. Especially women should beware of the men they meet or encounter because some fatal attractions may occur with unpleasant and unwelcome consequences. This is not a peaceful combination and actually a very or highly charged one. Following mundane astrology, it may point to issues of abuse but also renovating real estate and/or doing home improvements. Venus enters its own sign Taurus around May 28, suggesting some bills to be paid but also pointing to a sensual period of love making opportunities. Around the same day of May 28, there are clouds in the sky. Mars and Jupiter conjoin at 3° Aries around May 29, fighting for or defending one's beliefs. Following mundane astrology, this conjunction may coincide with huge protests or manifestations. Following astrometeorology, this aspect tends to increase the temperatures and bring dry(er) weather. Childlessness in SynastryThere are many topics on our to-do list and one of those happened to be an interesting request by a reader: how to find out childlessness in the chart comparison between partners.We could not answer the question because we had not read about anything related to the matter and have not yet conducted any research based on the chart comparison. As always, research takes time and, especially, reliable and accurate data. For the moment, we gathered accurate data of just 4 childless couples and decided to give it a try, out of curiosity, to see if some remarkable configurations would already pop up. We did not compare the charts with other couples, nor is this a statistical analysis. We found the following interesting links between the 1st house of one partner and the 5th house of the other partner:
This seems to be the most powerful configuration that we found in all the charts so far. Additionally, in all the 8 charts of the 4 couples we found planets or angles in the 2nd decanate of the Virgo-Pisces axis (between 10°-20°), making for a likely inter-chart conjunction and/or opposition between planets in this decanate. Also, in all cases, the Sun of one partner is in a major aspect (conjunction, sextile, square, trine or opposition) with the Ascendant of the other partner (orb 3°).
