In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around October 2-3, 9, 15-16, 23 and/or 29-30. During this month of October there is one specific planetary configuration of stationing outer planets that might affect specific birthdays.
Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished. In the 45° dial, there is the following powerful midpoint combo between outer planets going on that will be exact this month and that will mark this month's Zeitgeist: Saturn still hits the Neptune/Chiron midpoints (SA = NE/CH) with Uranus being in orb now as well. This midpoint was exact in September already and it remains that way in October. We then mentioned that it is indicative of, among others: the huge reality check, the damage through precipitation or inundations or floods, the painful agony, the defeat and pain, the misery, the painful dissolving of a situation, the painful cognitive dissonance, not being able to explain a weird and peculiar situation, the physical harm and/or pain, the harsh reality check, the sadness. With Uranus now entering this picture too, there is more disruption and stress noticeable. This is not a happy planetary picture at all... The 1st half of the month, from the 1st of the month on, Saturn in Aquarius will be at the same numerical degree as Uranus in Taurus (at 18°). Both planets will thus build their last square in fixed signs but never make it perfect so that this month is just all about threatening issues that may not fully materialize or manifest to the full. Both planets might try to impose more fear and reflect the clash between the old, conservative and strict energies and the new, more liberating energies (that will prevail because the aspect is waning with Saturn soon succumbing to Uranus). This disruptive aspect may still bring about harsh experiences, aside from fear, the more so because all Saturn-Uranus squares are related to tyranny, distrust in governments, breaking the rules, breaking with tradition(s), resisting the new or resisting change etc. Additionally, Uranus at 18° Taurus is still conjunct the Fixed Star Ruchbach which is indicative of sacrifice for a higher ideology, religion and/or political party and lacking "human warmth, compassion and empathy." Venus at 3° Libra opposes Jupiter at 3° Aries around October 1-2. These first October days point to legal issues, the tragic loss of a loved one, big expenses and/or financial losses. However, these days are nice to go out for a date and enjoy gatherings and just socialize. Expect sentimental days with a very charitable overtone. Most Venus-Jupiter aspects tend to overdo, overrate and overvalue appearances and might like ceremonies, fashion shows etc. Mercury stations at 24° Virgo and turns direct again around the same day of October 2, which will certainly please all Geminis and Virgos and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants. Their life gets slowly on track again and things start to move forward again. However, as you may all know from our monthly forecasts, Mercury stations often coincide with strikes, protests, manifestations and this stationary period might not differ, the more so because the degree area of 24° Virgo is about strikes, fear, shocks resulting in kind of paralysis, bringing shocking things (from the past) to the surface that also might bring about an existential crisis. Around October 6, there are clouds in the sky. Pluto stations at 26° Capricorn and turns direct around the October 8-9 Full Moon period. Periods when Pluto stations, especially in the earth sign Capricorn that represents the crust (outer skin) of the earth, often coincide with earthquakes, natural disasters that affect the earth (earth-slides, volcanic eruptions etc.) but also mining and other underground disasters, as well as big storms. After all, Pluto also rules "the underworld" (literally and figuratively) and brings a lot of "garbage" out into the open, especially when turning direct again. Hence, stationing Pluto is, again, in revelation mode even though it's still at a tyrannical degree. Indeed, the degree area of 26° Capricorn is a very harsh one in which the government(s) take control and steer the people in an often arbitrary way. As long as Pluto resides at 26° Capricorn (till December 9, 2022), governments are in control of whatever and the people are at their mercy, and often seek to break through their regulations and rulings. Anyway, everything has its time and there is a time for everything. The beauty of this all is that everything has an ending and so will it be. Stationing Pluto in Capricorn will bring more power plays to the foreground and revamp the corporate world, banks, governments further and further till Pluto leaves this zodiac sign definitely in late 2024. No doubt this is an uncomfortable experience because Capricorn rules the societal structures and those who rule and overrule us, the people. Now that Pluto is direct again, expect more scandals to come out into the open and some celebrities/VIPs/politicians might die or resign around this station as well, the more so because there is a Full Moon happening that brings everything out into the open and/or indicates the culmination of something. Around October 10-11, Mercury enters Libra, suggesting a very busy, even hectic, period during which agreements can be made. It's a period of breaking news and lots of communication and buzz. There can be (last-minute) gatherings as well. The day after, around October 12, you may feel tired when Mars at 23° Gemini squares Neptune at 23° Pisces. This square in mutable signs indicates an unstable period, dishonest behavior, secret activities and possible viral infections (for some). Around the same day of October 12, Mercury at 1° Libra opposes Jupiter at 1° Aries. There are legal documents and/or legal affairs to be taken into account. Expect some information or documents to be disclosed and/or released. Some information may be made public. Still around October 12, there are clouds in the sky. Around October 13 beware of transportation or traffic accidents and/or air crashes. Around October 18, there is relief at home and/or you may enjoy doing home beautification and/or enjoy the home environment and/or find relief in a cozy stay at home. The Sun at 26° Libra squares stationing Pluto at 26° Capricorn around October 19. This waning square reflects the heavy burden of oppression and tyranny and suggests underground activities. The current living circumstances don't feel right and are not in sync with natural or biological urges, resulting in unwelcome short-circuit actions. Beware of (financial) blackmail around October 19-20 when Venus at 26° Libra squares Pluto at 26° Capricorn. Also, don't sacrifice yourself in the name of "love." Still around October 20, there are clouds in the sky. The Sun and Venus conjoin at 29° Libra around October 22 and both will enter Scorpio together the day after while Saturn stations at 18° Aquarius and turns direct again. The combined ingress of the Sun and Venus in Scorpio through "the gates of death", another name for the 0° Scorpio degree, suggests a situation of regeneration and starting over or getting deeper into a matter. When the Sun and Venus are at 29° Libra, an ending degree, they build a love affair that may result in passionate moments. Hence, this ending degree area is known for its love endings, partner-swapping, momentary love bonds and love triangles. It's not unusual when a loved one dies around these days too, the more so because Saturn, the timekeeper, stations as well. Whenever Saturn stations, it tends to coincide with physical restrictions, the fall from a height (literally or figuratively so that some higher-ups may resign, get fired or just cross over). Capricorns and Capricorn ascendants will feel the station most as things may not go as they wished for and there may be some health issues popping up. It's best to take some rest and know your limits. Following mundane astrology, there may be ceilings coming down or buildings collapsing or everything high in the air, for example, tumbling or crashing down etc. Expect some things to be blocked or restricted as well. Following astrometeorology, stations of Saturn may indicate darker, overcast and dreary days, with more clouds in the sky. The October 25 Solar Eclipse at 2° Scorpio is conjunct Venus, adding to a passionate eclipse for sure. Following the research by the keen astrologer Bernadette Brady, this Solar Eclipse is part of the 6 South Saros Series. According to her, this Saros cycle is about being forceful and taking power. It has a manic flavor about it, with great force or strength manifesting in the relationship area. Individuals experiencing this Saros series may experience sudden events (falling in or out of love, sudden sexual encounters) but may also exert huge effort in some group activity. We wonder if this influence will also affect governments because in that case, this can be a really tough and harsh totalitarian eclipse. The Solar Eclipse in conjunction with Venus, in the sign of its fall, also adds intensity in the feelings, for good or ill. Hence, this can be a tumultuous combo, full of jealousy, rivalry, competition, attracting complicated matters and people alike. Issues about abuse, (financial) blackmail and the like but also issues about shared resources (taxes, insurances, inheritances, debt, loans etc.) may be brought to light the coming 6 months. Following astrometeorology, a Solar Eclipse conjunct Venus in the water sign Scorpio often coincides with lots and lots of precipitation. Hence, this Solar Eclipse period may result in inundations, floods and unwelcome water-issues here and there. Around October 26, there are clouds in the sky. Around October 27, Mercury at 26° Libra squares Pluto at 26° Capricorn. This waning square often indicates news about someone's death. It suggests futile protests, fighting windmills, sharp criticism, sticking to undisclosed information and not revealing anything or rather suppressing it. The day after, around October 29, retrograde Jupiter re-enters Pisces and may bring more precipitation here and there. 29° Pisces is a degree of water and water-related issues but also of refugees, an exodus and very chaotic situations or events going on. Mercury enters Scorpio around October 29 through the so-called "gates of death." Following our research, in mundane astrology it tends to often coincide with tragic traffic and/or transportation accidents (like bus or train accidents), causing many casualties and/or injured people. In investigative Scorpio, information-gathering Mercury becomes the investigative researcher and journalist, ready to uncover scandals and secrets. Mars at 25° Gemini stations and turns retrograde around October 30, prolonging its stay in Gemini for some months to come. If you are Aries of have Aries rising in your natal horoscope, you will feel this station most as things won't go as planned or wished and you may lack some zest. Stationing Mars going backward in airy Gemini may get angry and frustrated, with increasing protests, manifestations or strikes. Usually, retrograde Mars also works out in a very physical way and might be related to an increased number of physical (health) issues and ill people everywhere. Following astrometeorology, this position of Mars might coincide with more wind and even tense storms here and there. Following mundane astrology, Mars in Gemini, the sign of transportation and traffic, increases the likelihood of traffic and transportation accidents. The Most (Un)Reliable Synastrical Methods (Part 1)In this first part of an ongoing series, we'd like to now discuss one of the most reliable methods, as far as our knowledge and experience today stands.It's about the midpoints and planetary pictures between the partners analyzed in the 45° dial or list (depending on what you prefer). In other words, we compare the planets of partner 1 with the midpoints (planetary pairs) of partner 2 and vice versa. On our website we already discussed this topic here. Planetary midpoint combinations build the structure of everything, they are making harmonics and planetary geometry more visible and understandable.
