Click here to download the November 2023 calendar in pdf format. In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around November 2, 9, 16-17, 22-23 and/or, 29-30. During this month of November there are the following specific planetary configurations of stationing outer planets that might affect some specific birthdays in particular:
Try not to initiate any major projects on this dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty day (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished. In the 45° dial, there are some powerful midpoint combos between outer planets going on that will mark this month's Zeitgeist: the Jupiter/Pluto midpoint equals the Uranus/Chiron midpoint (JU/PL = UR/CH), then the Jupiter/Chiron midpoint equals the Saturn/Neptune midpoint (JU/CH = SA/NE), Pluto hits the Jupiter/Chiron midpoint early November (PL = JU/CH), the Jupiter/Uranus midpoint hits the Saturn/Pluto midpoint (JU/UR = SA/PL) and, finally, Saturn equals the Jupiter/Neptune midpoint (SA = JU/NE). The JU/PL = UR/CH planetary picture suggests, among others: the unexpected and/or thrilling fortunate developments, the BIG turmoil, the immense shock(s), the (massive) revelation(s), the widespread casualties after a shock or explosion or rupture, the sudden storm. The JU/CH = SA/NE planetary picture, that is especially more active in the 2nd half of the month, suggests, among others: the medical issues or intervention, the health challenges and the medical world. The PL = JU/CH midpoint that is especially active in the 1st half of the month but lingers on the whole month, suggests, among others: the fortunate development(s), the big success(es). The JU/UR = SA/PL planetary picture suggests, among others: the revelation of a building, structure or construction, the archaeological finding(s). The SA = JU/NE midpoint that is especially active late November, indicates, among others: the lack of hope, the disappointment(s), the (financial) losses, the financial crisis, to feel down, the pessimism, to be exhausted and/or tired, the heavy rainfall or precipitation, the grey and overcast weather. From November 1 on and for the next weeks, Pluto is at 28° Capricorn, an (ice) cold degree, reflecting a colder atmosphere, literally (following astrometeorology), but also figuratively, still suggesting a harsher Zeitgeist during which cold and narrow reasoning prevails. The intellect will be used in a calculated way which may be noticeable in the way some people or groups of people are treated and/or act for the rest of this year. This month (and December as well) is about formalities overruling human feelings, building a fence (figuratively to not feel and to just carry out a plan or obey blindly and mechanically, and rejecting anything else). Around November 3, the Sun at 10° Scorpio opposes Jupiter at 10° Taurus while Venus at 25° Virgo opposes Neptune at 25° Pisces. There is some arrogance, over-doing and exaggeration noticeable. You may feel insecure and long for something or someone. There is a lot of uncertainty what the future will bring and some of you want to take a step into the unknown. Following astrometeorology, the temperatures around this day might still be mild here and there. Saturn stations at 0° Pisces and turns direct again while Mercury at 21° Scorpio opposes Uranus at 21° Taurus around November 4. Interestingly, Saturn will remain at this so-called 'critical degree' of 0° Pisces the whole month of November long! Any time Saturn stations, it coincides with falls from a height and tumbling down (literally or figuratively), damage to buildings (especially to the roof or upper parts of a building or home) and/or collapses (like cranes or high structures collapsing). Capricorns and those of you with Capricorn rising will rejoice because your life may slowly get on track again. The days around the station can be a bit restricting though, especially on a physical level, but things will slowly start to improve. This degree of 0° Pisces is associated with dissolving, disappearances, chaos, demise and things that 'melt away'. Hence, following astrometeorology, this station may be related to water-related issues, floods and/or inundations with objects (Saturn represents forms and matter in a general way) in water (Pisces). We expect this month to bring lots of precipitation in whatever way. The Mercury-Uranus opposition indicates breaking news, a sudden change of course, traffic issues, nervous tension. Expect the unexpected and be flexible. Following astrometeorology, all tight Mercury-Uranus aspects coincide with heavy wind and even storm here and there. Around November 7, there are sunny spells first but later on it gets cloudy. Venus enters its own sign Libra around November 8, trying to focus on harmony and agreements. On a personal level, in this position Venus might trigger love at first sight, new enjoyable encounters and/or receiving a present/gift/parcel or nice news. However, beware of broken promises and/or commitments and some financial disappointment later on. Mercury enters Sagittarius, the sign of its detriment, around November 10 during which it also squares stationing Saturn (still at 0° Pisces). Some bad or sad news might go viral. There is some loss and/or no willingness to listen. This waning square tends to have fixed convictions whether they are right or wrong. Travel and traffic may not go smoothly at all. Around November 11, Mars at 21° Scorpio opposes Uranus at 21° Taurus; quite a violent and accident-prone aspect for sure. Oppositions to Uranus are very disruptive, separating and explosive or shocking. In fixed signs, this opposition holds tight and is very fanatic and intolerant. It's the classic aspect of physical injuries and pent-up anger that needs an outlet (like in strikes, protests and manifestations). Following mundane astrology, this aspect may be part of astrological signatures that coincide with natural or man-made disasters (like earthquakes, typhoons etc.) and very sudden and drastic changes in the weather pattern. Around the same day of November 11, there are clouds in the sky. Around November 12, there are sunny spells. The November 13 New Moon at 20° Scorpio (and thus still conjunct Mars at 21° Scorpio), closely opposes Uranus at 21° Taurus, intensifying these turbulent and violent days. All lunations that closely aspect Uranus bring about a very sudden and drastic turn in the weather pattern also. So, pay attention to this turbulent New Moon period and take care! Events tend to come and go fast, at high speed and with brute force (like a storm). Beware of accidents, physical injuries and disruptions a bit everywhere. The Sun and Mars meet at 25° Scorpio around November 18, presenting another violent combo indeed. The violence does not stop here and this aspect is indicative of, among others: trying to resolve tension with a fight, strikes, (traffic) accidents, physical injuries, not being able to direct energy properly, to oppose something strongly and with force, to resist violently, to not give in an inch, the intense physical exercises, the huge physical drive. The November 20 First Quarter Moon at 27° Aquarius is widely square Mars and semi-sextile Pluto, not easing the current tense mood. This particular degree often coincides with chaotic situations subject to victimization and intense relationship issues. Following mundane astrology, Mars-Pluto aspects are often indicative of power outages, natural and/or man-made disasters, and other forceful events. Around November 21, there are sunny spells first but later on it gets cloudy. The Sun enters Sagittarius around November 22, focusing on foreign affairs and travel. The day after, around November 23, the Sun, still at 0° Sagittarius, squares blocking Saturn at 0° Pisces so that any creative self-expression is hindered or prohibited. You may lack zest, feel down or not too well. It's a period of obstruction(s). Foreign relationships and/or travel tend to not goo smoothly after all. Mars enters Sagittarius around November 23, adding some push and a possible intervention in foreign affairs. Pushy and commanding Mars in spreading Sagittarius cannot stand being idle and will fight for its beliefs, in whatever way. This is not a peaceful transit at all and with the Sun, Mercury and Mars now in Sagittarius, the sign of travel, beliefs and foreign affairs, late November proves to become a period with tons of mobbing, bullying, arguments, disputes, bold statements, fights but also (following mundane astrology), traffic accidents and issues related to travel. If you are a Capricorn or have Capricorn rising, you enter a rather treacherous period and you should guard your health and beware of people working behind your back. Around November 25, Mars (still at 0° Sagittarius) squares Saturn (still at 0° Pisces), so that any initiatives will be blocked or delayed. This waning square, like all waning squares to blocking Saturn are met with hesitation and even obstruction. There is a growing feeling that fighting windmills makes no sense. There is no progress noticeable at all, whatever is being done. Around the same day of November 25, there are clouds in the sky, followed by sunny spells later on. The November 27 Full Moon at 4° Gemini brings lots of confusion and chaotic situations because this New Moon's ruler (Mercury) at 24° Sagittarius also squares Neptune at 24° Pisces. Mercury is still in the sign of its detriment and Neptune is the stronger of both because it's in its own sign Pisces (albeit retrograde). Foggy and watery Neptune is the stronger of the two and tends to mask and/or hide information, creating chaos and uncertainty. Beware of lies, false information and/or fake news (intentionally or not). Around November 28, Venus at 22° Libra opposes the true Lunar North Node at 22° Aries, indicating a period of reveling in love, a low point in connecting with others and even the need for solitude. Some of you may feel misunderstood, may miss a loved one, or may reassess a love relationship. Some attachments to loved ones may now come to an end, so to find peace after issues are resolved, in whatever way. Beware of sudden financial losses and/or troubles. Natal Mercury-Pluto ConnectionsIn previous Love Letters we delineated numerous planetary connections or affinities already.Now it's time to delve deeper into the Mercury Pluto connections. In most cases, the following configurations are used (there are more though (!) to define Mercury Pluto connections but this would lead us too far and make it more complicated than necessary):
What do Mercury Pluto connections signify? This connection indicates pondering, deep thinking, doing research or investigative work. In some instances it's also found in natal horoscopes of translators and/or people who are able to transform language, figures and/or images into a more understandable form (expressed in drawings or cartoons for example). People with a powerful Mercury Pluto connection tend to feel guilty easily, most often because they were sort of a hero-child in the family or were advantaged, often unwillingly or unintentionally. One of the downsides of this connection or affinity, revolves around obsessions (sticking to thoughts or images) and/or speech impediment/disorder. The behavior tends to follow certain ritualistic/fixed processes (not always in a conscious way). Communication can be used to express power, in which case manipulation or blackmail may thrive but in a more positive expression, there can be persuasion. This is a very investigative connection overall. Holding to certain fixed principles is common as well, and most often based on ideologies and/or just imagination. People with a very powerful Mercury Pluto connection tend to have a brilliant mind in some way but the downside is their mind can work like a laser beam, focusing on one single subject, with nothing that can bring them off from the chosen path, neglecting and even destroying all the rest.
