During this month of March there are no specific planetary configurations of stationing outer planets that might affect some specific birthdays in particular. Generally speaking, March 13, 14, 15 and 29 are "less lucky" days. Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished. In the 45° dial, there are some powerful midpoint combos between outer planets going on that work out the whole month and will mark this month's Zeitgeist:
The PL = JU/CH midpoint is indicative of, among others: the numerous casualties because of an explosion, the need and demand for real change, the breakthrough in health matters. On a personal level, this midpoint tends to work out very well (unless natal Saturn is part of the picture or aspects your natal Sun). Hence, if you are born around January 22, March 6, April 21, June 6-7, July 24, September 8-9, October 24 and December 8, there can be successful changes and developments going on. The JU/SA = NE/PL midpoint suggests, among others: the water-related issues affecting homes or buildings, the floods or inundations, the heavy precipitation, the isolated houses or buildings, the dissatisfaction because of a chronic disease. With 4 planets/bodies still in Pisces during the whole month of March (the Sun, Mercury, Saturn and Neptune -- and Mars will take the Sun's place later this month when the Sun has left Pisces) those of you born under the zodiac sign Aries or having Aries rising are still in a treacherous period that will last the whole month still, unfortunately, with lingering health issues and/or with people working behind your back. Also, there is lots going on behind closed doors during this period. You may feel isolated or confined. If you are Pisces or have Pisces rising, expect a heavy workload, lots of responsibilities, and a testing time to help you in your personal development. You might be called upon. Prepare for tiredness and/or some health issues as well during this month. Following mundane astrology, late March is, perhaps, one of the most violent, dark, karmic and/or busy periods annually, so that we might wonder what tragedies will unfold this year, especially with the current active Pisces stellium. Following astrometeorology, a stellium in Pisces tends to cold/chilly and wet weather with more precipitation than usual. Around the March 3 Last Quarter Moon at 13° Sagittarius, Venus at 19° Aquarius squares Uranus, its own dispositor, at 19° Taurus. Venus and Uranus are both in mutual reception, in exchange status or modus. In other words, Venus and Uranus work together and, because of the rocky square aspect, not in a smooth way, but in a helpful way nevertheless. Venus is the stronger of the two as Uranus does not feel well at all in Taurus. In some cases, this waning square is related to receiving small packages, surprises, gifts, nice presents or cards. This aspect may work out in a thrilling way, personally, and it also might coincide with short-lived attractions or encounters -- with some hurdles to be taken or accompanied by some uncomfortable situation. For some of you, this aspect may coincide with a short and/or sudden break-up, a separation, the end of a friendship that triggers a personal liberation process. Around March 6, you may be in for a pleasure, a nice encounter or a present. It's a good day for a date. Mercury and Neptune conjoin at 27° Pisces around March 8. According to mundane astrology, this aspect often coincides with intoxication and/or (food) poisoning. Mercury is in the sign of its detriment while Neptune is very strong in its own sign, suggesting a foggy atmosphere, not seeing things clearly which makes for being misled easily. Beware of colds, infections as well. Following astrometeorology, there can be heaps of precipitation around the period of this conjunction. Realize that Neptune is now entering the last three degrees of Pisces (again). The last three degrees are told to be 'drowning' degrees, literally and figuratively (which also happens when you are inundated by work, for example). The coming weeks and months can bring lots of precipitation here and there, resulting in misery. There are sunny spells on March 9, followed by clouds in the sky later on. Around the March 9-10 New Moon (a SuperMoon by the way) at 20° Pisces, Mars at 19° Aquarius squares its own dispositor Uranus at 19° Taurus while Mercury enters Aries. When Mars and Uranus are in mutual reception, they are likely to indicate a very accident-prone period with sudden, unexpected or unannounced actions and activities going on that can be upsetting, unsettling and quite uncomfortable. There is a fighting mood and spirit noticeable as well and you may get help from some friends, groups or organizations. Following astrometeorology, any tight Mars-Uranus aspect during a lunation period is found to bring a very sudden, drastic and disruptive change in the weather pattern (especially, but not solely, storm here and there). Because this current New Moon period is also a SuperMoon, this might just increase the odds and make it more powerful. On a more personal level, this New Moon period is related to changes to the motherly principles (like separating from the mother or the domestic area), changing the outer appearance (like having a new hair cut), getting pregnant or experiencing a miscarriage, not feeling yourself at home and/or being on the go or (stuck) in a (uncomfortable) transition zone. Following mundane astrology, this period can be violent, with attacks and fights and chaotic experiences overall. Also beware of transportation and traffic accidents causing lots of casualties. Indeed, between March 9-11, the astrological configurations and patterns also point to personally facing an unexpected change of course, a change of job or career, the need to feel free, to be impulsive and/or erratic, the emergency, the injuries because of an accident or violence, to proceed with high speed, the big intervention. If you are born around January 10, February 8, March 9, April 7-8, May 9, June 9-10, July 11, August 11, September 11-12, October 12, November 11 and December 10-11, these astrological patterns may especially affect you. The entrance of Mercury in Aries often marks a time of breaking news that may go viral, and taking decisions quickly and impulsively. It adds to the transportation and/or traffic issues as well. Venus enters Pisces around March 11, a very compassionate sign, wanting to help those in need. Following astrometeorology, this period in time may coincide with lots of precipitation, water-related and/or maritime issues here and there. Around March 12, there are clouds in the sky. Following astrometeorology, the astrological patterns around March 13 indicate storm here and there. The Sun and Neptune conjoin at 27° Pisces around the March 17 First Quarter Moon that finds place at 27° Gemini. This time around too may coincide with intoxication and/or (food) poisoning. In some instances, this aspect points to the passing of a celebrity or higher-up. Following astrometeorology, there can be lots of precipitation here and there. Mercury and the true Lunar North Node meet at 15° Aries around March 18-19. Anytime Mercury and the Lunar Nodes are in aspect, it coincides with a very hectic, nervous and tense period, full of talks and buzz. Things start to move. The Sun enters Aries around March 20, suggesting a new start. Beware of defective electronics or electrical devices around the same period. Also, some computer or internet (connectivity) problems may not be ruled out as well here and there. It's not recommended to buy anything around this day as the items may not be available, may be defective or may be delayed. Around March 21-22, Venus and Saturn conjoin at 12° Pisces while Mars will enter compassionate Pisces around March 22-23. The degree area of 12° Pisces reflects going under or down, going hiding, disappearing and/or keeping a (very) low profile. Some of you may take a step into the unknown and take some risks that go with it. (Sudden) career switches are possible as well and often indicative of the need to be more independent. Venus-Saturn conjunctions are melancholic so that a bit of loneliness may be part of the current somber energies. Some of you may experience monetary issues, not being able to pay a bill or a purchase, while others may face separation from a loved one. When Mars enters Pisces, beware of some hidden actions and activities. Mars is currently in a hostile position, reflecting a sniper, working behind the back or undercover. There are cover-ups and it's not recommended to go with mere outer appearances that are meant to camouflage or mask certain situations. After all, life is all about the 'Art of deception.' Following mundane astrology, the entrance of Mars in Pisces often coincides with flu-like symptoms and/or health issues, the fall of (a) government(s), being fired, to be the victim of violence or an accident. Because Mars represents the armed forces and firefighters, it's to be expected this period of time may bring about lots of interventions to help those who suffer and/or are a victim of some situation. Don't be fooled because Mars in Pisces is not easy and may increase anger and violence that is often drug- or intoxication-related. Till April 5, Venus and Mars together reside in Pisces, boosting the (love) life of all water signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces), as well as Virgos and those having Virgo rising. Following astrometeorology, all Venus-Saturn aspects coincide with cooler temperatures and overcast and/or cloudy weather. Add to that the stellium in Pisces and Mars entering Pisces as well, and precipitation and damage through water and the like can be part of the picture. There are sunny spells around the same day of March 21-22. Around March 23, there are clouds in the sky. Following astrometeorology, the March 24-25 Lunar Eclipse at 5° Libra coincides with floods or inundations. This particular degree area reflects the energies of a shock experience with situations going on that you cannot grasp to the full. Following mundane astrology, protests, manifestations and/or strikes belong to the possibilities. This is a very hectic Lunar Eclipse, presenting lots of stress, noise and buzz. Not everyone wants or will want to work during this Lunar Eclipse period though and some of you may feel overwhelmed so that it's best to not allow more stress or work. Some natural or man-made disasters (like earthquakes, earth-slides etc.) are possible too. If you are born around January 7, February 5-6, March 6, April 6, May 6, June 6, July 8, August 8, September 8, October 9, November 8 or December 7-8, this Lunar Eclipse period can be a very sociable one, with lots of gatherings, socializing, heartfelt encounters or meetings. You may just feel popular. Around March 26, there are clouds in the sky. Around March 27-28, there are sunny spells. Natal Mercury-Saturn ConnectionsIn previous Love Letters we delineated numerous planetary connections or affinities already.Now it's time to delve deeper into the Mercury Saturn connections. In most cases, the following configurations are used (there are more though (!) to define Mercury Saturn connections but this would lead us too far and make it more complicated than necessary):
What do Mercury Saturn connections signify? When cerebral and communicative Mercury is connected to defensive and detached Saturn, the intellect serves as a defense mechanism and all (life) experiences tend to be filtered in a rational and detached way. In other words, people with such strong Mercury Saturn connections often reflect the 'primacy of the intellect' and may have it difficult to be be empaths and show feelings. This can be a calculated connection or affinity that can be welcomed in a business-minded setting or world but that is rather difficult in matters of love and romance. It's a critical connection, questioning everything and even rejecting everything that cannot be expressed or explained rationally. It's the connection or affinity of skepticism, often involving a rather narrow mindset and not being able to see the bigger, more complex picture, the larger Whole. Systematic thinkers, like programmers and scientists who need to be structured and well-organized, often have this connection predominant in the natal horoscope. People with powerful Mercury-Saturn connections in the natal horoscope are often deep thinkers, who build a fence around them, leaving them solitary in their own (intellectual) bubble that nobody is allowed to enter. Hence, it's a connection pointing to loneliness, quite demanding to the outer world as the external environment has to prove itself worthy to enter the world of the nativity with the powerful Mercury-Saturn connection. People with such a predominant connection enjoy rejection as it makes them stronger and in the 'upper-hand role' but, in a later phase of development or stage, this may result in frigidity and discontent. In some instances, this connection coincides with either an anemic constitution (a lack of vitality and being too analytic) and/or a diabetic constitution (not being able 'to be sweet'). Issues with (a) sibling(s), often lead(s) to a separation or detaching oneself from them. The lack of empathy and/or feelings often results in cynical remarks, unfulfilled longings, and the inability to let any tears. In matters of love and romance, it is found that this connection or affinity, attracts partners who are 'out of reach', or differ a lot in age and/or are just unavailable (for whatever reason). In whatever way, there is a distance between the partners, some kind of a separation that prevents meeting each other a lot and/or that blocks getting together at all. 'Love' grows the more partners are out of reach and diminishes the more partners meet personally and get closer physically and/or emotionally. The saying 'the one that I long for, I cannot have; the one that I can have, I don't long for' makes perfectly sense with this connection. Love relationships only exist because the partners are both cerebral and/or are both living together because of friendship and/or like experiencing a brother and sister relationship. The female partner especially may lack emotional support, which evolves into frigidity, after starting to 'complain' about the detached behavior of the other partner -- neglecting or forgetting the fact there even was never any emotional bond from the beginning... In other words, both partners lived in separate worlds from the beginning but their imagination prevented them seeing and experiencing it, and so come they got together to live and experience the division. Only this way, by this learning experience, partners can become conscious and develop further. Emotions are being taken over by fear and anxiety for almost anything. People with predominant Mercury-Saturn connections try to analyze any situation to counteract any dangers and traps. Both Mercury and Saturn are rather passive planets, making that people with a Mercury-Saturn connection tend to wait, hesitate until the moment is right.
