Love Forecasts for August 2024(slowly hover over a paragraph with the mouse and wait a second for additional astrological information)All dates are calculated for the European Time Zone. Click here to download the August 2024 calendar in pdf format. In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around August 1, 8, 15-16, 21-22 and/or 28. During this month of August there are the following specific planetary configurations of stationing outer planets that might affect some specific birthdays in particular:
Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished. In the 45° dial, there are currently no powerful and exact midpoint combos between outer planets going on. Neptune is still at 29° Pisces this whole month too, the last degree of the whole zodiac. As we mentioned before in our previous forecasts, that very last degree of the zodiac marks just that, the end of a full cycle, and indicates, among others: the end of the rope (literally or figuratively as well), dissolving, chaos and confusion, endings, bankruptcies, severe maritime and environmental issues, an exodus, fleeing away or go hiding, intrigue, lies, deception and secrets etc. all over. Following astrometeorology, the whole month long may also bring more precipitation than usual, inundations, floods, drownings etc. here and there. Pluto too remains at 0° Aquarius, a highly powerful and so-called 'critical' degree the whole month August long. Pluto at 0° Aquarius has the intention to reform, to renew, to break free from chains and formalities and transform the old and conservative into something more future-proof. 0° Aquarius/Leo also has a huge impact on the Vatican (and centralized religions in a wider sense) and royalties. In the past, this degree area resulted in the start of reshaping and dissolving (centralized) monarchies. Be aware that 0° Aquarius coincides with HUGE reversals, taking a U-turn as it's a powerful crisis degree, resulting in lots of emergencies and crisis situations that need an immediate solution when Pluto resides at 0° Aquarius and 29° Capricorn (from September 2024 on). So, what this means is that for the rest of 2024, the rules will change 180° and things will start to result in complete reversals (that will still take time to manifest though until Pluto leaves 0° Aquarius again early 2025 that is). Around August 1-2 there are relationship break-ups and/or nervous tension involving a loved one, which will affect you especially if you are born around January 2, February 15-16, March 31-April 1, May 16-17, July 2-3, August 18-19, October 4 or November 18. Following mundane astrology, the early August days may be full of confusion, cognitive dissonance, agony and some painful events that cannot be easily explained just now. Following astrometeorology, the first week of August might bring quite some precipitation here and there, but in other areas it can be extremely warm as well, resulting in fires. There are sunny spells around August 4, early in the morning. It's not recommended to purchase anything of value today as the product(s) may be out of stock, delayed and/or defective. Around the same day of August 4-5, there is a New Moon at 12° Leo while Venus enters Virgo and Mercury stations at 4° Virgo (turning backward). This degree area reflects the most extreme traits and characteristics of Leo, suggesting it's, among others, but foremost, about: children, having fun, entertainment, being playful, but also about seeking attention in an extreme way. Indeed, 12° Leo is extremely attention-seeking and always pushes itself into the spotlight, at times in a dramatic way. Following mundane astrology, this New Moon's degree is also a so-called 'Royal degree', suggesting it might coincide with being or becoming a 'King/Queen', to get in the spotlight because of one's position, to 'be crowned' (literally or figuratively). It's quite possible we will hear a lot about Royalties around this New Moon period (for good or ill). Following mundane astrology, this New Moon phase can be a very explosive, stormy and turbulent one as well because of the stationing Uranus/Pluto midpoint. Following astrometeorology, beware of heavy wind and even storm accompanied by heavy precipitation here and there. Stationing Mercury always affects Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) most but also disrupts all kinds of communication, commerce, traffic and/or transportation on a more mundane level. It's best not to sign contracts during Mercury's station because information may get lost, delayed, retracted, reviewed, withheld etc. Some of you may feel weaker, may face some bad cold or health issues, pulling you down. In Virgo, stationing Mercury is focused on the minutest details and needs to go over a lot of small things. This is the time to be critical, analyze and question a lot before taking decisions. Beware of traffic jams, but also strikes, protests, manifestations etc. during this station. Usually, stationing Mercury in Virgo increases the impact of annoying insects here and there. While Venus changes signs, she is currently also inconjunct both Neptune and Pluto, meaning Venus builds the apex planet of a YOD-configuration. This YOD-configuration is indicative of, among others: mourning a loved one, the lost love, transcending love, the tragic death of a loved one, trying to escape pressure or longings or helplessness by music or art or mysticism. Generally speaking, this New Moon period looks like to be(come) a very sad and tearful period; keeping others in our memories... Following astrometeorology, this YOD-configuration confirms precipitation that can be out of proportion here and there. Around August 5-6 there are unfulfilled wishes, uncertainty, lots of chaos, which will affect you most if you are born around February 3-4, March 18-19, May 3-4, June 19-20, August 5-6, September 21-22, November 5-6 or December 20-21. Around August 7, there are clouds in the sky. Mercury and Venus conjoin at 3° Virgo around August 8, still a degree of feeling weak but also of doing things unconsciously, mechanically, on auto-pilot, without insight, without knowing why. Mercury is stronger than Venus because Mercury is in its own sign, despite being retrograde. Often, this combination suggests connecting or entering a relationship with someone who is very rational, cerebral, less physical, which may result in intimacy issues. Around August 9, there are clouds in the sky. The current astrological configurations point to a period of uncertainty (about the future) and there is irritation and restlessness (with possible sleepless nights) in the air. Beware of internet issues/outages here and there. Following astrometeorology, there can be lots of precipitation here and there. The August 12 First Quarter Moon at 20° Scorpio is about bonding closely, getting together, merging, some kind of fusion (in the widest sense) and even getting married. This degree area is told to be very passionate, with huge longings but also with some intense or heavy pressure or force in the background (for whatever reason). There can be an inner compulsion, but also use of some external force (for good or ill) that creates (nervous or uncomfortable) tension. Because Scorpio rules shared resources (the banking system, loans, debt, taxes, insurances, inheritances etc.) there can be financial issues going on, that may bring annoyance or even anger. Following astrometeorology, this degree area coincides with lots of precipitation here and there, but also with quite some external force like fierce wind during stormy weather. Mars and Jupiter meet at 16° Gemini around August 14, an aspect of, among others: tumult, uproar, a huge need and desire for freedom, the sudden explosive development of something, the shock experience, the big disruption, obstruction or block. However, the degree area also suggests quick help, quick relief or support (even unexpectedly) to resolve any issues that popped up suddenly. Around the same day of August 14-15, Mercury re-enters Leo in its backward motion, taking responsibility for children and/or coping (or trying to cope) with them. Some plans may be cancelled or cannot continue, for whatever reason. Don't be too irritated and keep yourself collected and centered. Mars at 17° Gemini squares Saturn at 17° Pisces around August 16, presenting a block, creating resistance. Beware of disputes, (pent-up) anger, dissatisfaction, separation and/or trying to force something against the will of someone else or of others. Also beware of breaking bones and/or health issues. (Retrograde) Mercury at 27° Leo squares Uranus at 27° Taurus around August 18, indicating a noisy, restless and nervous period ahead with sudden twists of turns and breaking news. Following astrometeorology, all close Mercury-Uranus aspects increase wind-speeds, resulting in very windy weather and even storm here and there. There are sunny spells around the same day of August 18. Actually, the whole August 19 perigee Full Moon period at 27° Aquarius is something to watch out for. During this Full Moon, the Sun conjoins Mercury at 26° Leo, squares Uranus immediately there after, while Venus at 17° Virgo squares Jupiter at 17° Gemini and opposes Saturn at 17° Pisces too (which means that Jupiter also squares Saturn). In other words, during this Full Moon period, there are two T-squares active: one in which Jupiter is the apex planet, building a square to the Venus-Saturn opposition; and another T-square in which Uranus is the apex planet, building a square to the Sun/Mercury-Moon opposition. The first T-square, involving Venus, Jupiter and Saturn revolves around, among others: making home a cozy place, enjoying time alone, doing home improvements, an amicable separation, experiencing infidelity. The second T-square, containing the Full Moon, Mercury and Uranus is indicative of, among others: sudden news or messages, the sudden experience or excitement, the quick trips or changes of the place, to suddenly face new circumstances, to suddenly break up. Clearly, both astrological patterns combined together increase the chance of a separation, divorce or break-up. The degree of this Full Moon indicates panic, but it is also about remodeling and transformation (like a butterfly). In this way, this potent perigee Full Moon will also point to liberating renewal, in whatever way or of whatever kind. Following astrometeorology, perigee Full Moons in Summer are told to coincide with hot temperatures and/or drought, accompanied by heatwaves and thunderstorms here and there. In Winter, temperatures can be mild. Around August 21, there are clouds in the sky. The Sun enters Virgo around August 22, focusing on work, health, diet and (domestic) animals. There is work at hand the coming days. Around August 23, Venus at 22° Virgo squares Mars at 22° Gemini. This waxing square in mutable signs suggests, among others: love issues, disputes, mental issues, disagreements. Something might happen that changes everything just now and for some of you, your dreams will likely collapse. There is love's sorrow, a lack of zest, disappointment and even hopelessness here and there. If you are born around January 28-29, March 13-14, April 28, June 13-14, July 31-August 1, September 15-16, October 31 or December 13-15 the current astrological configurations might affect you most. Following astrometeorology, the current astrological configurations indicate HUGE precipitation and water-related issues of whatever kind. Around the same day of August 23, there are clouds in the sky. There are sunny spells around August 25. The August 26 Last Quarter Moon at 3° Gemini might indicate a tragic transportation and/or traffic accident. Something might happen that causes different/many casualties. Venus at 29° Virgo opposes Neptune at 29° Pisces around August 28 while Mercury stations again this month and turns direct at 21° Leo. Remember that Mercury stationed while Venus, Neptune and Pluto were building a YOD-configuration at 29° in a sign around August 4-5? Isn't it interesting to now observe Mercury stationing again while Venus, Neptune and Pluto are building another triangular configuration at 29° in a sign again? it's the cycle or rhythm of the Universe at work! All 29° are ending degrees, ready to start anew. There is a lot of uncertainty about the future though, about a relationship, about finances, and you are just full of longings (and unfulfilled wishes). It's the Universe's way to try to increase your creativity and/or help you become more spiritual. Similar events and/or experiences that happened early August may now resurface. Following astrometeorology, when Venus and Neptune (accompanied by Pluto) closely aspect each other, they presage lots of precipitation here and there. Venus enters its own sign Libra around August 29, suggesting signing a new agreement, a change of residence or job/career and/or enjoying a mass gathering. It's time to socialize and meet new people anyway. If you are born around January 13-14, February 27, April 12, May 28-29, July 15, August 30-31, October 15-16 or November 29, around August 30-31 you may find lots of opportunities that may bring some joy, relief in whatever situation you are, a breakthrough, support and/or help. Updated Statistical Research Marriage in Solar ReturnsThe last couple of months, we added a lot of new solar returns calculated for the year of marriage of men and women and wanted to know if there was any difference with previous outcomes.There are currently 626 horoscopes (solar returns) in our database and this was the set we recently analyzed and want to present the results of now. Still on top as one of the most significant results is the Moon-Uranus opposition (orb 3°) (chi square 16.5), as well as the Ascendant Leo (chi square 20.7), more especially in the 1st decanate (chi square 10.7) and the 2nd decanate (chi square 17.8). Leo rising in the solar return chart may be a surprise as we would think that Leo is more associated with children and Libra with relating. Libra rising comes second after Leo rising though (chi square 7.8) so that it has some significance. Perhaps Leo rising in a solar return is related to entertainment, the joy, the play, 'the love', the pleasure, the fun, rather than the relating as such? Some other highly important configurations:
