Generally speaking and on a mundane level, January 2017 is still marked by the wide T-square in Cardinal signs between Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in which Pluto in Capricorn is the apex body.
This T-square will be triggered on different occasions when the Sun and Mercury will conjunct Pluto this month.
We discussed this astrological configuration already in our December 2016 forecast and won't repeat the meaning here again.
So, let's focus on what the month has further in store.
Around January 1 Mars and Neptune conjoin at 9° Pisces, a very creative and musical degree.
When Mars of activities and primal urges and Neptune of secrets meet, you can be sure there is a lot going on behind the scenes, the more so because Neptune is the stronger of the two being in its own sign.
Secret affairs and secret transactions tend to mark the turn of the year 2016-2017.
In some instances, this conjunction at this degree may result in health issues (like infections, food poisoning, intestine issues to mention the most common outcomes), marking some "down-time."
Venus enters Pisces around January 3 and becomes part of a powerful Pisces stellium that is going to influence the way this month unfolds.
Indeed, with Venus, Mars, Neptune and the South Node of the Moon (let's just forget about Chiron now) all in Pisces, January 2017 will bring lots of piscean influences and events to our lives.
First of all, if you are born under the zodiac sign Aries, you may face more sorrow, uncertainty and confusion.
Some of the Aries people may feel rather ill and should watch their health, while others may experience deceptions, betrayal, secret affairs, an encounter with 'secret enemies' and other hidden ventures.
You tend to withdraw more easily, go undercover or hide yourself.
For all zodiac signs, this stellium in secretive Pisces is likely to bring more confusion, escapism, and/or delusions.
There is lot of camouflage and undercover activities going on (often the result of a survival mechanism).
Seduction is used as a trap.
The Venus, Mars, Neptune and South Node combo reflects perversions, dissatisfaction, infidelity, unfulfilled love longings, abusive behavior, blackmail, the secret bonds or connections, disharmony in some connections etc.
This planetary combo will directly affect all water signs (Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio).
Also, these water signs may encounter romantic attractions that can be unfulfilling or impossible, for whatever reason.
Around January 7 the Sun and Pluto conjoin at 17° Capricorn, a degree of paranoia and imposing fear.
This planetary combo at this degree indicates trying to cope with extreme oppression or tyranny, to resist oppression fiercely, legal fights and hectic emotional situations.
The Sun and Pluto together in the cardinal earth sign Capricorn bring power issues and earthshaking revelations (digging things up).
Be tenacious, determined and have tons of patience now.
Notice that around these early January 2017 days, the Sun will trigger the aforementioned T-square between, Pluto, Jupiter and Uranus.
Also, around January 8, Mercury stations and turns direct at 28° Sagittarius reinforcing news going viral.
Beware of health issues related to the lungs and/or allergic reactions to certain toxic stuff (in water, food, air etc.).
If you are a Gemini or Virgo (or have Gemini or Virgo on the Ascendant), your life will slowly get a boost again.
You will see things more clearly now so that taking decisions will only become better.
Additionally, around the same day of January 8, Venus at 5° Pisces opposes the mean North Node of the Moon denoting the need for some time alone, easily feeling misunderstood by others, feeling out of a group or connection, feeling separated from a loved one.
Showing affection may be difficult and this is not a time for socializing.
Moreover, your finances may be at a low.
Financial limitations currently block progress.
The Sun at 20° Capricorn squares Uranus at 20° Aries around January 10.
This waning square is extremely independent and cannot stand complying to some rules.
This is the aspect of the eternal NO-sayer.
You want to go your own way, are contrary -- even for the sake of it -- in a very principled way.
You are intensely aware of the world situation that keeps you emotionally hooked and that makes you sick.
Around the January 12 Full Moon period the Sun at 22° Capricorn squares Jupiter at 22° Libra while Mercury enters corporate and governmental Capricorn again.
This Full Moon at 22° Cancer is at the same numerical degree as Jupiter and Saturn, blending their principles all together.
This Full Moon period is about real estate, buildings, study and research, changing the residence, travel, job or career changes but also some kind of dissatisfaction.
This is not a playful and light time that is!
The waxing Sun-Jupiter square is about ballooning behavior, the elite and higher-ups propagating promises that cannot be held and/or misjudgments.
Mercury, the messenger, at 0° Capricorn, representing the Government, the corporate or banking world always points to some official information, news or documents becoming public.
There is some message that needs to be made public around these days.
Venus and Neptune conjoin at 10° Pisces around January 12.
This conjunction is a platonic one, longing for Universal Love, trying to find the the unobtainable Ideal Lover that only exists in your own imagination but not on Planet Earth.
There are unfulfilled longings and you easily feel sorry for the weak or vulnerable ones.
This conjunction shows you want to escape from the hard realities and find solace in music, photography and/or other artistic and creative projects.
Around the January 19 Last Quarter Moon at 0° Scorpio, called the gates of death, the Sun enters shocking and disruptive Aquarius while Mars at 23° Pisces squares Saturn at 23° Sagittarius.
The waxing Mars-Saturn square represents reckless and forceful energy, overexertion and ruthlessly fighting severe oppression and resistance.
This is not a happy Last Quarter Moon.
On the contrary, it just suggests sorrow and sadness and it points to profound regeneration, the need to revamp a situation clear out to start over.
Back to square one.
In matters of love and romance, this Last Quarter Moon suggests that some of you will change partners, lovers or relationships and start over with someone else...
The entrance of the Sun in Aquarius adds to the unexpected 180° reversal or U-turn.
Around January 27 Venus at 24° Pisces squares Saturn at 24° Sagittarius.
The waxing Venus-Saturn square vents dissatisfaction and indicates the desire to complain.
This is an aspect of keeping up appearances as well, faking love and/or faking riches.
The atmosphere is cooler and there are' clouds in the sky.
The Chinese New Year begins on the January 28 New Moon while Mars enters Aries, its own sign.
Mars represents the armed forces (the military and police) and is at a degree of new beginnings, primal urges to initiate something new.
In this position, Mars suggests (public) interventions by the armed forces around this New Moon period.
This New Moon period (that is most powerful before the New Moon is exact, when it's darkest) indicates sadness, feeling paralyzed, lacking courage and/or energy, unusual activities that become a source of inspiration and the like.
Around January 29 Mercury and Pluto conjoin at 17° Capricorn, a degree known for its paranoia and imposing fear.
This planetary combo at this degree indicates severe annoyance, trying to cope with extreme oppression, legal fights and hectic emotional situations.
Mercury and Pluto together in the cardinal earth sign Capricorn bring earthshaking revelations, research and the digging up of information or documents.
Be tenacious, determined and have tons of patience during this investigative time.
Generally speaking and on a mundane level, February 2017 is still marked by the wide T-square in Cardinal signs between Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in which Pluto in Capricorn is the apex body.
Though never exact, this T-square will be triggered on different occasions but especially late February.
We discussed this astrological configuration already in our December 2016 forecast and won't repeat the meaning here again.
So, let's focus on what the month has in store.
Around February 1 Mercury at 21° Capricorn squares Uranus at 21° Aries.
This waning square suggests misunderstandings and miscommunication.
Your plans and expectations are thwarted unexpectedly, which creates nervous tension and stress.
Also, some urgency sets in and may bring additional stress.
Expect disagreements as well.
In mundane astrology, the Mercury-Uranus square may indicate (air) traffic accidents and/or increased chaos in matters of traffic and transportation.
The Sun enters secret and mute Pisces around February 18 emphasizing a secret or silent atmosphere.
Around February 21 the Sun at 3° Pisces opposes the mean Lunar North Node.
Usually, this aspect suggests difficulty to maintain a position, a change in recognition, a setback, low self-esteem, health issues or a lower vitality and/or an identity crisis.
This is a separative aspect that may also indicate something not going as you like it.
At the Fixed Star Sadalmelik, this combo often indicates legal issues as well.
Around February 26 Mercury enters vague and secret Pisces during the Solar Eclipse which falls at 8° Pisces, reinforcing a period of increased secrets and events going on behind one's back and/or behind closed doors.
Beware of misinformation making you feel uncertain and confused.
If you are an Aries, you may feel the gossip, rumors and working behind your back more profoundly.
At 8° Pisces, this Solar Eclipse from the 19 South Saros Series, may bring pleasant surprises in the coming 6 months (following the research results by astrologer Bernadette Brady).
According to her, there are joyful events, lucky breaks, lucky wins and/or sudden happiness occuring that can positively change your life.
Clearly, the coming 6 months may be more uplifting on a personal level, especially so if natal Saturn does not interfere with the Solar Eclipse in your natal chart.
Anyway, late February 2017 promises to become very hectic, the more so because Mercury at 3° Pisces also opposes the mean North Node of the Moon around February 27.
Mercury-Lunar Node contacts most often denote stressful periods full of nervous tension and an information overload.
Generally speaking and on a mundane level, March 2017 is still marked by the wide T-square in Cardinal signs between Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in which Pluto in Capricorn is the apex body.
Though never exact, this T-square will be triggered on different occasions this month in a very powerful way.
We discussed this astrological configuration already in our December 2016 forecast and won't repeat the meaning here again.
The Sun and Neptune conjoin at 11° Pisces around March 1-2 indicating bewilderment and deceit all over.
There is chaos and confusion and some people go missing, withdraw or try to hide.
There can be maritime issues or disasters happening as well.
Around March 2-3 Jupiter at 22° Libra opposes Uranus at 22° Aries suggesting social reform, reconstructing our society along more idealistic lines.
This opposition points to a busy period for (environmental) activists and the unwillingness to compromise freedom of thought.
People are now challenging society and demanding to be more open, liberating, fresh and confiding.
In matters of science and technology, this opposition often marks some radical novelties and innovations.
Venus at 13° Aries stations and turns retrograde around March 4 implying a shift in the love consciousness.
Usually, when Venus regresses, feelings of love are no longer expressed easily and existing relationships can be tested.
Break-ups may happen and people may withdraw and disconnect more easily to review their values and relationships with loved ones.
During the station and when Venus is retrograde, it's not too good a time to buy expensive goods or products either because you won't get what you want or imagined.
Also, avoid any type of beautification (especially cosmetic surgery) and instead try to be creative and sharpen your artistic skills that may thrive when Venus is retrograde.
Around the same day of March 4, Mercury and Neptune conjoin at 11° Pisces, still emphasizing the chaotic and confusing time frame we're in.
Around March 6-7 the Sun and Mercury conjoin at 16° Pisces.
Knowledge is power.
Around this day you should not take everything too personally.
Mars enters the fixed earth sign Taurus around March 9-10, indicating purchases and spendthrift (impulsive spending).
In the sign of its detriment, Mars slows down but is still very determined and highly stubborn.
There is fierce resistance and the primal urges are focused on resisting changes, securing one's possessions (and/or money) and ignoring any sound advice.
Around the March 12 Full Moon, Mercury at 27° Pisces squares Saturn at 27° Sagittarius.
This waxing square in mutable signs gives a very short attention span and increases nervous tension and mental restlessness.
It's a very critical aspect, suggesting sharp arguments and cynical remarks.
The mood is somber and you may grumble and complain easily.
Mercury enters fiery and impulsive Aries around March 13, suggesting a very talkative mood.
Mind your words because you tend to talk faster than you can think...
Around March 17 the Sun at 27° Pisces squares Saturn at 27° Sagittarius indicating a dark mood and a heavy heart.
This waxing square ponders and takes everything (too) serious.
It's a very restrictive, constrictive and blocking aspect that creates tension and a distance in relationships.
There is hesitation also and a struggle to gain acceptance.
Mercury and Venus conjoin at 9° Aries around March 18 pointing to enjoyable or peaceful agreements.
There can be a peaceful separation going on and some of you may prefer and enjoy solitude or being home alone.
Today is a good day to change your residence or move also.
The Sun enters pushy Aries around March 20, adding to a busy schedule.
Around March 23-24 Mercury at 19° Aries squares Pluto at 19° Capricorn.
This annoying and fanatic waxing square is way too obsessed with power and trying to make a point.
Information, news or messages are being manipulated in an exaggerated way and higher-ups or people in charge cannot stand criticism and try to impose their agenda or views.
Obviously, this planetary combo results in vexation, shouting and harsh disputes.
Also, Mercury soon after squaring Pluto opposes Jupiter at 20° Libra around the same day of March 24, denoting Pluto is currently the apex body of a T-square that involves Mercury and Jupiter.
This T-square is above all about propaganda and trying to influence others, the masses.
It's about immense criticism or rebuffs for theories or views which are inadequately presented, repression of sound discourses or thinking but also about recognizing some fortunate or auspicious changes, reversals and transformations.
This T-square emphasizes energy and enthusiasm to continue with transformations in a positive way.
It's about decision-making, in a forceful way perhaps, and planning a certain course.
Around March 25 the Sun and Venus meet at 4° Aries.
This gentle and accommodating combo in Aries tries to please, above all, and cannot stand a fight.
Around March 26 Mercury and Uranus conjoin at 23° Aries, making for breaking news.
There is restlessness, nervous tension and things start to move, to change more abruptedly.
There is resistance though and you still try to defend an opinion or point of view fiercely, resulting in disagreements and possible clashes.
You may face separations and tension around this day.
Also, whenever Mercury and Uranus blend, traffic and/or transportation issues (accidents) are another possible outcome.
Retrograde Jupiter at 19° Libra squares Pluto at 19° Capricorn around March 30 indicating a loss of status, esteem and reputation.
You may want the impossible, too much power and influence that is.
Imposing your own views and beliefs do not work, especially not when others do not like them or disagree.
Around March 31 Mercury enters stubborn and inert Taurus, showing an inability to change your views and focusing on money, property and possessions.
You tend to overly repeat you own points of view and hang on to what is tangible.
Generally speaking and on a mundane level, April 2017 is marked by nothing less than four planetary stations and six planetary ingresses that we will analyze below.
Moreover, Chiron and stationing Saturn are building a turbulent square (well into May), which is quite upsetting a combination following mundane astrology.
If you are born around January 17, February 1, February 15-16, March 17-18, April 17, May 2, May 18, June 18, July 19-20, August 4, August 20, September 20, October 20, November 4, November 19 or December 18-19 you will likely face some hardship this month of April 2017.
Overall, expect a sobering month during which you won't be allowed to fly too high.
Just face the facts and change your mindset or change direction, if possible.
In many instances, your health can be compromised due to illness or injuries.
Saturn-Chiron clashes can be very stubborn and blocking progress.
Additionally, this month, the wide T-square in Cardinal signs between Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in which Pluto in Capricorn is the apex body is still active but slowly fading.
Nevertheless, this T-square will be triggered on different occasions again till mid April.
We discussed this T-square already in our December 2016 forecast and won't repeat the meaning here again.
Gentle Venus enters compassionate Pisces around April 2-3 and prefers a harmonious and peaceful environment.
You can hardly stand disagreements and may quit when you feel attacked.
The entrance of Venus in Pisces marks a period where you feel more attracted to help the weak, the victims, the refugees, the addicted.
You may miss a loved one also -- for whatever reason.
Saturn at 27° Sagittarius stations and turns retrograde around April 6, suggesting that you are about to redefine and reconsider your beliefs, outlook and world view.
In Sagittarius-of-the-sky-is-the-limit, stationing Saturn will likely bring you back on earth to become more realistic.
Also, Sagittarius is the zodiac sign of law, religion and foreign affairs and will likely oblige to reconsider, reevaluate and/or withdraw certain laws and/or orders.
While direct Saturn is about building, re-trograde Saturn is about re-building.
Around April 7 the Sun at 18° Aries opposes retrograde Jupiter at 18° Libra, indicating compromised laws, beliefs and philosophies.
There is some financial activity or scheme going on around these days and you tend to exaggerate without hesitation.
There is publicity but either your reputation will be burnt by public criticism or you will be put in a lime light instead of in sunlight.
Retrograde Venus at 27° Pisces squares stationing retrograde Saturn at 27° Sagittarius around April 8, denoting these early April days are upsetting and disturbing your relationships (in the widest sense).
Separation is in the air and you feel disappointed and quite sad.
Love is currently "out of tune."
It's better to withdraw, leave a group or retreat instead of struggling to co-operate with others.
Interestingly, the same aspect and pattern will be active again around April 21.
Anyway, this aspect will likely affect you most if you are born around January 17, February 1, February 15-16, March 17-18, April 17, May 2, May 18, June 18, July 19-20, August 4, August 20, September 20, October 20, November 4, November 19 or December 18-19.
Around April 9-10 Mercury stations and turns retrograde at 4° Taurus.
As usual, when Mercury regresses, Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) will feel the station most by experiencing some (minor) setbacks, delays and/or uncomfortable situations.
You may not feel too well and things just don't go your way now.
It's best not to take any important decisions and you better wait till Mercury turns direct again around May 3.
In mundane astrology, Mercury's station often coincides with periods of strikes here and there.
The Sun and Uranus meet at 24° Aries around April 14, suggesting the uncovering and disclosure of lies, the end of an era and liberating influences thanks to exposing "the truth."
This very upsetting conjunction in pioneering and pushy Aries will add to increased awareness and insight.
At 24° Aries, it's the conjunction of exposure and it marks the end of a seemingly stable period.
Things are not only moving, they are turning around completely.
Some of you are now moving, changing the residence and, interestingly, this may go hand in hand with changes at the working floor, job- or career-related changes at the same time.
In short, this conjunction implies changes and milestones that may go to the core of your existence.
Following astrometeorology, this conjunction may mark some geophysical changes.
Around April 15 Venus at 26° Pisces stations and turns direct again.
You tend to escape, quit, flee away, abandon relationships (in the widest sense), often to become independent and go your own way.
The Sun enters stable and inert Taurus around April 19 and will conjunct Mercury at 0° Taurus the day after.
There is some information, news or a document pertaining to your material existence, covering money and/or possessions.
Perhaps there are invoices and/or agreements you need to take a look at.
Pluto stations at 19° Capricorn around April 20, ready to regress.
This heavy transit intensifies power struggles in or with the corporate and banking world, governments, conservative idea(l)s, higher-ups, celebrities, leaders, bosses etc.
In the earth sign Capricorn, representing masks, the surface of the planet and fences, retrograde Pluto of the underworld is going to delve deeper below the surface like never before.
It will resurface when it goes direct again around September 28.
In astrometeorology, stationing Pluto in Capricorn may add to natural disasters like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, mining accidents and other 'earth'-related issues.
Because Pluto rules the fixed water sign Scorpio, it always results in issues or events with a huge emotional impact (i.e. shocks).
Around the same day of April 20, retrograde Mercury re-enters Aries indicating a cautious approach in communication.
However, with the additional ingress of Mars in talkative Gemini around April 21, any information issued now may have to be re-written, re-considered later on.
For the 2nd time this month, Venus (which is now direct, remember?) at 27° Pisces squares stationing Saturn at 27° Sagittarius; a very calculating aspect.
You may try to keep up appearances and tend to lament.
You feel dissatisfied on an inner level about your love life and/or your financial situation.
The time is not right for purchases and instead you're holding tight to your possessions and/or money like a miser.
If you are born around January 17, February 1, February 15-16, March 17-18, April 17, May 2, May 18, June 18, July 19-20, August 4, August 20, September 20, October 20, November 4, November 19 or December 18-19, the Venus-Saturn aspect is likely to affect you again.
At 0° Gemini, Mars is often "on the road", nowhere at home and currently in a very accident-prone position, adding to the possibility of (traffic-)accidents and/or violence resulting in physical injuries for many people.
This is even reinforced because Mars at 0° Gemini also squares the mean Lunar Nodes around April 22.
Readers of our monthly forecasts will already know that any challenging Mars-Lunar Node contact involves physical injuries affecting many people at once as long as the aspect is in orb.
Around April 28, Venus re-enters Aries, the mean North Node of the Moon enters Leo and retrograde Mercury and Uranus conjoin at 25° Aries.
Have we already mentioned that this month of April would be a busy month? LOL
The entrance of Venus in impulsive Aries may result in love at first sight.
In this position Venus is also highly attracted to the armed forces (the police and the military).
The mean North Node of the Moon changing signs is important because it marks the beginning of a new period with new connections and contracts or agreements.
In Leo, the Lunar North Node wants you to express yourself more creatively.
Develop self-confidence, stand on your own but still radiate warmth.
You cannot lean on anyone and need to be more self-reliant but try not to be too haughty and let go your selfish ego.
When Mercury and Uranus meet, there is some nervousness and chances are communication is interrupted.
Breaking news and a tendency to contradict others may be observed.
Usually, any Mercury-Uranus combination is not that tactful and chances are agreements and/or negotiations are compromised or interrupted.
Keen and innovative insight and thinking outside of the box rule and may resolve issues.
Around April 30 retrograde Saturn at 27° Sagittarius squares Chiron at 27° Pisces, presenting a reality check.
If you are born around January 17, February 1, February 15-16, March 17-18, April 17, May 2, May 18, June 18, July 19-20, August 4, August 20, September 20, October 20, November 4, November 19 or December 18-19 you will face some hardship (especially on a physical level) late April.
Generally speaking and on a mundane level, Chiron and stationing Saturn are still building a turbulent square till mid May, which is quite upsetting a combination following mundane astrology.
If you are born around January 17, February 1, February 15-16, March 17-18, April 17, May 2, May 18, June 18, July 19-20, August 4, August 20, September 20, October 20, November 4, November 19 or December 18-19 some hardship will linger on this month of May 2017.
Overall, expect a sobering half of the month during which you won't be allowed to fly too high.
Just face the facts and change your mindset or change direction, if possible.
In many instances, your health can be compromised due to illness or injuries.
Saturn-Chiron clashes can be very stubborn and blocking progress.
Around the May 10 Full Moon period, stationing Mercury and Uranus conjoin at 25° Aries, suggesting passionately pushing through any resistance to execute your plan(s).
This can be a violent and/or accident-prone conjunction resulting in physical injuries.
Some moderation and paying diligent attention may be helpful now.
Mercury, the messenger, enters stable and materialistic Taurus around May 15-16.
Taurus is not communicative at all and often can be very obstinate in venting opinions.
Changing one's mind becomes not easy and may result in a tense atmosphere.
Venus at 13° Aries opposes retrograde Jupiter at 13° Libra while the Sun at 28° Taurus squares the Lunar Nodes around May 19.
This opposition reflects disappointment and betrayal.
Love, sex and romance are difficult to blend one way or the other and misunderstood completely.
There is a conflict and even war noticeable between society's morals, love and sex.
Relationships are plagued by unrealistic ideals and you may rather prefer a short-lived romantic fling.
Indulgence and extravagance rule and what you do now tend to be done with enthusiasm and an excess of grandiose feelings.
If you are born around January 4, February 17, April 3-4, May 19-20, July 5-6, August 21-22, October 7 or November 21, this Venus-Jupiter opposition indicates achieving things that would pleasurize you on a material or physical level.
Social involvement and social activities make you happy and you know where and how you should mix with others in society or a group.
Around May 20, the Sun enters mutable and airy Gemini suggesting a lighter atmosphere.
Around May 22 you may enjoy creativity, fortunate developments, popularity and windfalls.
You are able to complete plans with others, work with others successfully.
Around the perigee New Moon of May 25 Venus at 19° Aries squares retrograde Pluto at 19° Capricorn.
The perigee New Moon (the Moon is now closest to the Earth) represents a SuperMoon so that some extreme weather is likely here and there.
The waxing Venus-Pluto square wants to conquer, often in too forceful a way.
Beware of rape and/or physical abuse.
Also, don't be too fanatic and try to be gentle and accommodating so to avoid clashes and power conflicts.
Mars at 25° Gemini opposes retrograde Saturn at 25° Sagittarius around May 28-29.
This opposition between two opposing forces indicates strong self-confidence, even some arrogance and ruthlessness as well.
Your activities and actions go against the traditional and conservative norms.
You are quite critical and intolerant.
You can't hide there is someone or something you can't stand.
In mutable signs, this opposition is accident-prone; resulting in work-related accidents, traffic- or transportation accidents -- often because of overexertion, over-strain, overdoing and/or over-fatigue.
Let's take a look now at the astrological patterns that are active this month.
The early June days are marked by a Grand Trine in fire signs between the Lunar North Node, Venus, Saturn and Uranus.
If we also take the position of Mars into account, before it leaves Gemini and enters Cancer around June 4, the pattern is actually a Kite.
In mundane astrology, the Kite is not well researched though and thus open to some speculation.
In stormy and wild times, the Kite tends to bring stability and balance.
The Fire Grand Trine suggests courage, living in the fast lane and overabundance of energy that will keep you very busy with so many things to accomplish.
Around June 4 Mars enters home-loving Cancer while the Sun at 14° Gemini squares Neptune at 14° Pisces.
The illusive waxing Sun-Neptune square in mutable signs represents betrayal and/or being misguided.
You may now face huge competition and severe power conflicts from someone of the same gender.
When Mars enters vacillating and emotional (moody) Cancer, patriotism reigns.
Also, you tend to experience emotional impulses of anger and disputes.
However, in numerous instances, we noticed that Mars of activities and work in home-loving Cancer also indicates doing home improvements, doing construction work and house repairs.
So, now is the time to take a look at your house, apartment or living conditions.
Venus enters its own sign Taurus while Mercury enters its own sign Gemini around June 6.
Both planets are very powerful in the sign they both rule, resulting in financial news, news related to property, purchases and/or possessions, expenses and/or bills to be paid.
Expansive and optimistic Jupiter stations and turns direct at 13° Libra around the June 9 Full Moon.
This restriction-lifting station usually brings more optimism, more indulgence and a sense of (regained) freedom.
Expect a boost in your confidence!
For some of you, this station will indicate fortunate developments and expansion in your relationship(s) (in the widest sense).
On a mundane level, there are legal issues and scandals coming out into the open because stationing Jupiter is currently at a very public degree.
Around June 13-14 Mercury at 14° Gemini squares (stationing) Neptune at 14° Pisces.
Stationing Neptune is extremely powerful now that it is almost at a standstill in its own sign.
The waxing square with Mercury reflects a smoke curtain, unreliable news or information, misunderstandings and/or miscommunication and/or disguised communication.
Beware of hoaxes and fake news.
The Sun at 24° Gemini opposes limiting Saturn at 24° Sagittarius around June 15.
Any Saturn opposition creates a distance and indicates a turn off.
A higher up may be temporary or permanently out of reach for whatever reason.
Your creative self-expression is blocked and you face some restrictions and/or health issues.
Around June 16 Neptune at 14° Pisces, a so-called critical degree, stations and turns retrograde.
There can be lots of confusion, sadness and disappointment now and you better keep your head cool.
Do not take any important decisions around this station because you may be drowned by a situation and will not see the picture clearly.
As soon as Neptune regresses, your ideals and visions may become more realistic.
Interestingly, retrograde Neptune usually marks a period of increased artistic ability and spiritual growth (insight).
In astrometeorology, Neptune's station in the mutable water sign Pisces often indicates water-related issues (precipitation, floods, inundations,...) here and there, the more so because the Moon is in Pisces too.
FYI, any aspect between the transiting Moon and Neptune (powerful in its own sign Pisces), humidity is high, often resulting in rain, snow, fog etc.
Additionally, maritime issues too can be expected around the station.
Around the same day of June 18 Mercury at 24° Gemini opposes blocking Saturn at 24° Sagittarius indicating official news, documents, messages or information coming from abroad or from a far-away place.
It may be sad news also.
There is a serious and cloudy mood noticeable.
Between June 18-21 a YOD pattern (between Venus, Neptune and Jupiter -- Jupiter being the apex planet) is active and suggests engulfing in beauty, being creative and artistic (acting, listening to music, enjoying photography,...), excessive use of deceptive practices in financial or artistic endeavors, religious deceptions, romantic reverie, luxury consciousness and/or keeping up a good front.
Through being creative and artistic, you will be able to expand your consciousness on condition you can turn inward.
On a mundane level, this can be a highly disorganizing pattern and some of you may not be able to manage your daily affairs well now.
You tend to procrastinate, use poor judgement or even over-reach.
Prepare for another world view to emerge due to "a twist of fate."
The Sun and Mercury together enter home-loving and patriotic Cancer around June 21.
It's like two people entering another room or home and indeed, for some of you this transit may suggest a change of residence, a move, starting to live together, doing home beautification and/or just finding "a new home."
There can be news about pregnancy and motherhood also.
Expect some emotional conversations and discussions around these days with people saying what's on their mind (and heart).
Mercury at 13° Cancer squares Jupiter at 13° Libra around June 27 indicating misjudgments, making sweeping (emotional) statements and telling tall stories in public.
Around June 28 Mercury and Mars conjoin at 15° Cancer, a so-called "critical degree."
Usually, the Mercury-Mars conjunction in emotional Cancer represents (too) fast and decisive statements, emotional arguments or discussions.
Some impatience in communicating is noticeable too and you may be too quick to share what's on your mind.
Any sharp remarks now lack some diplomacy.
In many cases Mercury-Mars aspects also suggest traffic and/or transportation accidents.
At 16° Cancer, this conjunction implies separation from a female person, brooding, thinking how to break the bonds of a restrictive home life and/or trying to cope with loneliness.
Venus at 14° Gemini squares Neptune at 14° Pisces around July 17 which creates a trance-like atmosphere.
There is some sacrifice for a higher ideal noticeable but beware of alcohol, drugs and/or medication that tend to influence and distort your perception.
Around the same day of July 17-18, Mars at 28° Cancer squares disruptive Uranus at 28° Aries, which is a very accident-prone and violent combo.
Physical injuries often happen when cutting Mars and unsettling Uranus meet and clash.
This waxing square is especially destructive and turbulent, the more so because it's also at a degree of "the destruction of illusions resulting in profound reversals, mobbing, obsessions, intrigue and blackmail."
Fiery Mars enters hot and dry Leo around July 20 suggesting rising temperatures and the increased possibility of thunderstorms.
In Leo, the sign of drama and creative self-expression, Mars wants to conquer and demands support and attention.
Leo is vain and fights when its feelings of pride are injured.
Expect more passionate and impatient involvements in many matters.
The Sun at 28° Cancer squares Uranus at 28° Aries around July 21 and has likely been triggered already when Mars entered Leo (which is ruled by the Sun).
This disruptive waxing square reflects the political rebel, the freedom-fighter, the one who feels liberated.
Expect a sudden change of course.
Following mundane astrology, there is an increased risk of transportation and/or traffic accidents around these days.
The Sun enters Leo around July 22 while, at the same time, Mercury and the Lunar North Node conjoin.
Usually, Mercury-Lunar Node aspects indicate hectic and busy times, lots of buzz and a restless and nervous atmosphere.
Now that the Sun and Mars both are in self-centered and showy Leo, your ego and self-awareness may get a huge boost.
Anger may build up as well as the need to show off.
Mercury enters its own sign Virgo around July 25-26 while the Sun and Mars conjoin at 4° Leo around July 26-27.
In Virgo, sign of work and health, Mercury represents the tiniest particles and items, but also small animals (and insects) increasing the odds of some annoying bugs keeping you busy.
Mercury is highly critical and analytical and loves menial tasks.
It's all in the minutest details!
The Sun-Mars conjunction initiates and takes action and wants to do things preferably out of self-interest!
Expect quite some work with this commanding and impatient combo.
During this month of August, there are no particular powerful patterns or configurations that affect specific birthdays so that we will take a look now at the astrological patterns that are active this month.
Though on a mundane level, there are less astrological configurations and patterns than average, there still are some very powerful ones at work as you will see.
Generally speaking, August 1, August 17, August 21-22 and August 29 are less "lucky" days.
Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished.
Uranus stations at 28° Aries and turns retrograde around August 3.
Whenever a planet stations and re-gresses, it suggests some kind of re-jection, re-considering and/or re-turning.
The atmosphere is cool and you try to keep up appearances.
At this particular degree, disruptive Uranus suggests hospitalization and/or surgery for some of you.
Any station of Uranus may intensify (medical or technological) discoveries and/or inventions.
People tend to react more impulsively, abruptly -- often without a reason because of the station in impulsive Aries.
It's better not to act or decide too soon and wait till Uranus takes up some speed again before jumping to and executing any new ideas.
Around August 4 expansive and legal Jupiter at 17° Libra squares transformative and intense Pluto at 17° Capricorn.
This waning square between two giants indicates the loss of money, status, reputation and/or esteem.
Some of you may be fired, others may face serious legal issues.
Expect quite some power struggles around these early August days, ruthless behavior and changes in laws.
This waning aspect intensifies your beliefs and convictions and is set to go to the bottom of anything whatever it takes.
This aspect may enlarge the scope of research and investigations.
Also, law and justice are not the same and each of us has to find out what norms or morals still apply in our lives and whether or not we want to walk the talk.
In some ways, this can be a shocking aspect that is able to rebuild and restructure after breaking up, demolishing or quitting obsolete (and even illegal) structures and traditions.
The Lunar Eclipse at 15° Aquarius, a so-called "critical degree", around August 7 indicates separation, breaking up, breaking free and/or taking a U-turn for the sake of being free.
Indeed, this is a very freedom-loving degree that cannot stand to be pinned down and is able to change the rules, completely.
Because all Full Moons (and Lunar Eclipses in particular) create awareness, this one too will deliver.
Chances are some of you will no longer follow a certain path and change course because of increased or new insights.
In some instances, this Full Moon will bring a message with some urgency, related to a male person.
Around August 13 Mercury stations and turns retrograde at 11° Virgo.
As usual, Mercury's station affects all Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) most and they will likely feel not too well around this day.
Things may not go as smooth as you wished and you better wait a couple of days to cope with the changed energies.
Postpone any major decision till Mercury turns direct again (after September 5).
Venus at 17° Cancer opposes Pluto at 17° Capricorn around August 15.
While this opposition indicates insatiability, it also suggests jealousy and possible (financial) blackmail.
There is some push and intensity regarding agreements and relationships (in the widest sense).
Women should be careful who they date now.
Beware of legal issues and/or blocking influences in your encounters and meetings.
On a positive note, this opposition also suggests births, pleasure from music and arts, social charm, impressing others with your manners and sophistication and/or artistic notoriety at some level.
Still around August 16, the Sun and the Lunar North Node conjoin while Venus at 19° Cancer squares Jupiter at 19° Libra.
Any Sun-Lunar North Node conjunction is told to bring some improvements, benefits and/or successes.
It's a period of increased confidence during which you're able to express yourself and impose your influence.
Because of the additional waning Venus-Jupiter square, you can be wasteful, too careless, too optimistic, too fun-loving, over-accommodating and/or over-indulging.
While you may feel "high" romantically and sociably, the current astrological conditions do favor a nice social life.
When looking at the Solar Eclipse you will notice this Eclipse exactly hits President Trump's Ascendant/Mars conjunction in Leo.
Moreover, the August 2017 Eclipse will be the first with a path of totality crossing the USA's Pacific coast and Atlantic coast since 1918.
Also, its path of totality makes landfall exclusively within the United States, making it the first such Eclipse since the country's independence in 1776.
Hence, this Solar Eclipse is called "The Great American Eclipse."
Astrologers know that eclipses predominantly work out in the countries or areas they are visible and this one will thus bring the USA in the spotlight with important events to happen all over that country in the second half of this year.
This Solar Eclipse is actually part of 4 eclipses that belong to the same 19-year metonic cycle group:
August 22, 1979: Solar Eclipse on 29° Leo
August 22, 1998: Solar Eclipse on 28° Leo
August 21, 2017: Solar Eclipse on 28° Leo
August 21, 2036: Solar Eclipse on 29° Leo
In medieval astrology, 28°-29° Leo coincided with the position of the Royal Fixed Star Regulus which was told to bring great note and power.
Though the Fixed Star is now positioned at 0° Virgo, the late Leo degrees still have their influence on Royalties, celebrities and certain leaders of state (the more so if the Eclipse conjuncts one's Ascendant of self and identity).
To find out its meaning for the US president(s), we looked at what happened in the past when the Solar Eclipses of this metonic cycle group were active (note that a Solar Eclipse works out within 6 months):
August 22, 1979: Solar Eclipse on 29° Leo.
President Carter experienced the November 1979 Iran hostage crisis.
He remained in isolation in the White House for more than 100 days and failed in his mission to rescue the hostages.
Political analysts cite this as a major factor in the trajectory of Jimmy Carter’s presidency and his loss in the 1980 presidential election.
August 22, 1998: Solar Eclipse on 28° Leo.
President Clinton faced the Lewinsky scandal in December 1998 that lead to his impeachment on two charges, one of perjury and one of obstruction of justice.
However, in the end, Clinton was not removed from office.
August 21, 2017: Solar Eclipse on 28° Leo.
If this metonic cycle has an influence on the US President(s), it must work out that way again, the more so because, this time, the Solar Eclipse also conjuncts the Ascendant and Mars of the President, denoting the Eclipse will affect him personally.
Late 2017 (especially November-December because of the Scorpio New Moon that squares the Solar Eclipse) is likely to bring some crisis situation for the President and the USA.
Also, it's always interesting to take a look at what happened when a previous Solar Eclipse too was at 28° Leo.
The previous Eclipse happened on August 22, 1998.
Know that he met his current wife Melania in the second half of September 1998.
All the Moon phases that were active between mid 1998 - early 1999 will repeat again between mid 2017 till early 2018, making that issues and themes that were experienced then, may surface and/or be triggered again in 2017.
It's likely the upcoming Solar Eclipse will also influence his relationship again and/or repeat themes that were then part of his life:
Solar Eclipse August 22, 1998 28°48' Leo
First Quarter August 30 6°38 Sagittarius
Full Moon September 6 13°40 Pisces
Last Quarter September 13 20°05 Gemini
Solar Eclipse August 21, 2017 28°53 Leo
First Quarter August 29 6°11 Sagittarius
Full Moon September 6 13°53 Pisces
Last Quarter September 13 20°40 Gemini
And so forth...
Life is cyclic and history still repeats itself, for the time being...
Following the great astrologer Bernadette Brady, this Solar Eclipse of the Saros Cycle 1 North might indicate unexpected events involving friends or groups that place a great deal of pressure on personal relationships.
Relationship issues may loom large and you are advised not to make any hasty decisions since information is distorted and possibly false.
This Eclipse series also has an essence of tiredness or health problems attached to it.
Anyway, any North Node Solar Eclipse marks personal and major milestones and indicates an important new beginning in one's personal life.
If you are born around February 9, March 26, May 11, June 27, August 13, September 28, November 13-13 or December 27, this Solar Eclipse period may result in dissatisfaction, a loss of work and/or a loss of energy.
Venus at 28° Cancer squares Uranus at 28° Aries around August 24.
This waxing square is eccentric and curious but detached in matters of love and romance.
A flirt is possible but you will likely feel uncomfortable because of an inner clash between emotional attachment and keeping your freedom.
Around August 25 Saturn at 21° Sagittarius stations and turns direct again.
Stationing Saturn in the sign of religion and beliefs, publicity and foreign affairs indicates you will have to come to terms with these topics.
Expect stricter rules, questioning and redefining your beliefs, delays in matters of foreign affairs and more skepticism.
Around the same day of August 25-26, Venus enters playful Leo and Mars conjoins the north Node of the Moon at 23° Leo.
Now that both Venus and Mars reside in Leo, the love life of all fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) may blossom.
In showy Leo, Venus loves some drama and wants to be noticed.
This is a vain position for Venus to be in and a charming combo as well.
Triangular relationships may find good ground to grow now.
Anyway, enjoy gatherings or parties and socialize.
The Mars-North Node of the Moon combo in Leo can be reckless and impulsive, resulting in physical injuries.
Beware of accidents and fire-related issues.
The Sun and rational Mercury meet at 3° Virgo around this busy and hectic day of August 26 suggesting taking decisions without insight and oversight.
You're most interested in facts & figures and the minutest details instead.
Around August 31 Retrograde Mercury re-enters Leo, making that 4 bodies (Mercury, Venus, Mars and the Lunar North Node) currently reside in this dry and fiery zodiac sign.
Mercury and Leo have in common that they are highly talkative.
Generally speaking, September 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 are less "lucky" days.
Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished.
Let's take a look now at the astrological patterns that are active this month.
Around September 3 stationing Mercury and Mars conjoin at 28° Leo, the degree of the August 21 Solar Eclipse.
This conjunction suggests disputes, disagreements and verbal attacks.
This is a verbal aspect indeed and chances are you want your voice heard, the more so because the conjunction happens in fiery, showy and dramatic Leo.
Protests, shouting, sharp criticism, combative speeches and impatience to speak or get the word out mark these early September days.
The Sun at 12° Virgo opposes Neptune at 12° Pisces while Mars enters dutiful Virgo and Mercury stations and turns direct again at 28° Leo around September 5.
These are busy days for sure with all this planetary activity going on.
Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants as well) will welcome Mercury's station as it shows things are progressing again slowly.
Information comes out more openly.
Very often, in mundane astrology, the station of Mercury indicates a period of possible strikes or protests.
The Sun-Neptune opposition suggests submission to some authority, the inability to manifest in a self-conscious way, the loss of or a weak sense of self and/or identification with (a) victim(s).
Health challenges may result in hospital visits, the more so because Mars now also enters Virgo of health and a clinical atmosphere.
Mars in the earth sign Virgo is very analytical and takes time to work diligently and as precise as possible, taking into account all the numerous details.
In this sign, Mars represents the crafts-person, the one who works in the physical or material world with material goods.
Following astrometeorology, temperatures will start to decline and the atmosphere becomes chiller.
Generally speaking, October 3, 6 and 11 are less "lucky" days.
Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished.
Let's take a look now at the astrological patterns that are active this month.
Around the October 5 Full Moon Venus and Mars conjoin at 19° Virgo.
This powerful and passionate combo favors the (love) life of all earth signs (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn) but is especially auspicious if you propose or marry around these days on condition your natal chart does not prohibit it.
Also, this Full Moon period is a very good one for a date or to enjoy company and socialize.
All Venus-Mars aspects have in common that they add to issues related to impulsively and instinctively entering the territory of others too soon.
Hence, in some instances, clashes may occur.
Passions often run high which can be reinforced by the current Full Moon of increased emotions also.
Friendly Venus at 22° Virgo squares serious Saturn at 22° Sagittarius while the Sun and Mercury conjoin at 15° Libra around October 8.
The waning Venus-Saturn square in mutable signs represents the cold shower, blocking feelings, rejecting love and affections altogether.
This sobering and disappointing aspect also points to financial restraint, money management and/or a low cash flow.
The atmosphere is cooling off with clouds on the horizon.
The Sun-Mercury conjunction at a "critical degree" (15° Libra) wants to talk things over, wants to resolve love and/or financial issues.
Moreover, the Sun at 16° Libra squares Pluto at 16° Capricorn around the same day of October 8-9 adding some power conflicts, illness and/or disturbing issues in your environment.
Around October 10 expansive Jupiter enters intense and passionate Scorpio.
As long as Jupiter resides in the sign of the Underworld, expect lots of abuse coming into the open.
There is huge determination to get to the bottom of legal issues, often involving shared resources, inheritances, gifts, loans, insurances, investments, legacies and/or taxes to name a few.
Active Mars at 22° Virgo squares blocking Saturn at 22° Sagittarius around October 11 denoting strikes, fighting against oppression, austerity and/or restrictions.
Because the square is waning, the efforts won't have any impact though and one easily feels the victim of the windmills and authorities or governments.
Venus enters its own sign Libra around October 14, a very sociable and accommodating degree.
Agreements can be made and it's time to socialize.
Around October 15, Mercury at 26° Libra opposes Uranus at 26° Aries.
Both intellectual and cerebral planets point to remarks that are to-the-point but not always quite welcomed.
You are able to express your views openly and honestly but tend to be contrary and tend to contradict others.
Viewpoints tend to suddenly change and tact is currently missing as well.
Inconsistency in your communication may result in disagreements and disturb negotiations.
Documents, letters or sayings may suddenly come out into the open, and shock some of you.
Following astrometeorology, most Mercury-Uranus contacts indicate wind and stormy weather.
Whenever Mercury and Uranus aspect each other, there is breaking news and some emergency involved.
Mercury enters investigative Scorpio around October 17 and indicates mental stamina, psychological interests, detective or research work and revealing documents and/or information.
You have your mind set to get to the bottom of anything you encounter.
The day after, around October 18 Mercury and Jupiter conjoin at 1° Scorpio suggesting and even adding to the revelation of secret documents or information.
Legal, religious or financial information may result in prosecutions.
The Sun at 26° Libra opposes Uranus at 26° Aries around the October 19 New Moon disrupting harmony and violently pushing through any resistance or oppression.
This is a turbulent New Moon period with lots of confusion and sudden upheaval.
Cutting Mars enters diplomatic Libra, the sign of its detriment, around October 22.
Some intervention of the armed forces is to be expected to maintain balance and harmony.
Giving and taking are something that must be learned, as well as respecting each others' boundaries.
Whatever you now envision, keep in mind that you only initiate things to restore balance, not to upset balance.
Now that both planets of love (Venus and Mars) reside in the air sign Libra, the (love) life of all air signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius) may get a boost.
Around October 23, the Sun enters Scorpio, resulting in a Scorpio stellium, enhancing the (love) life of all water signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces) and earth signs (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn).
The Sun and Jupiter meet around October 26 at 3° Scorpio.
The focus is on a religious leader or a celebrity.
There may be more faith, confidence and optimism around this conjunction.
Venus at 17° Libra squares Pluto at 17° Capricorn around October 27-28 indicating intense and highly-charged emotions with passions running high.
There is fear of loss of life too and this waning square adds to being victimized.
These late October will be very hectic and busy as revealed by the square between Mercury at 20° Scorpio and the Lunar Nodes at 20° Leo-Aquarius around October 30.
There is a lot of buzz, pondering and serious thinking, doing research and/or investigative work.
Generally speaking, November 12 is less a "lucky" day.
Try not to initiate any major projects on this dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty day (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished.
Let's take a look now at the astrological patterns that are active this month.
Venus at 25° Libra opposes Uranus at 25° Aries around the November 4 Full Moon period, indicating short-lived and/or temporary exciting encounters some of which can be of a secretive nature.
Around November 5-6 Mercury enters flamboyant Sagittarius.
The entrance of Mercury, the messenger, in expansive and flamboyant Sagittarius indicates lots of changes of the place (or of the residence) but also propagating and lecturing others.
You want your message (and opinions) to go out.
There are changes to be communicated.
Because Sagittarius also rules religion and the law, some legal issues (fraud, bankruptcy, corruption etc.) may pop up or become public knowledge.
Seductive Venus enters intense Scorpio, the sign of its detriment around November 7, suggesting some intense and deep relationship involvements -- for good or ill.
In complicated Scorpio, Venus is not social at all and is highly attracted to complex and unfathomable emotional attachments.
Also, beware of physical abuse.
Chances are your financial situation too becomes more complicated.
The Sun at 19° Scorpio, the cursed degree and one of the most destructive degrees of the zodiac, squares the Lunar Nodes.
This highly forceful and intense aspect points to fate and power conflicts.
Expect an outward burst of activity and a highly transformational and karmic period of a reversal between November 9-13.
Compulsions and obsessions rule and are related to shocking experiences.
Venus and Jupiter conjoin at 7° Scorpio around November 13, indicating giving something up for a better opportunity.
In mundane astrology, Venus and Jupiter together not always work out positively, unfortunately.
In the best way, this conjunction represents popularity and a wide social circle, a large crowd of followers.
There can be huge debts or wastefulness (expenses also) though.
Around the same day of November 13 Mercury at 11° Sagittarius, the sign of its detriment, squares Neptune at 11° Pisces, the sign of its domicile.
Clearly, Neptune in the sign it rules is the stronger and overpowers weak Mercury.
This is a very chaotic and confusing aspect, distorting facts and figures.
Beware of deception, lies, gossip, fake news and the like.
Around the November 18-19 New Moon period, impulsive Mars at 17° Libra, the sign of its detriment, squares intense Pluto at 17° Capricorn.
This waning square is a very violent one, full of dissatisfaction, legal issues, shootings, accidents and what's more...
In matters of construction work, this aspect is highly favorable and now is the time to do home repair and construction work.
The Sun enters expansive Sagittarius around November 21-22 while Neptune stations at 11° Pisces and turns direct.
Moreover, Venus at 18° Scorpio squares the Lunar Nodes around the same day of November 22.
You may feel deceived, disappointed as well, because of misunderstandings and/or miscommunications.
Whenever chaotic Neptune stations in its own sign, it represents hidings, illusions, delusion and big disappointments.
This station increases artistic ability and it's quite difficult to remain realistic and stay focused.
Also, you tend to avoid people and dislike socializing.
Around November 28 Mercury and Saturn conjoin at 27° Sagittarius which is quite a serious combo.
Both planets together are often associated with gossip and negative thoughts.
On the plus side, this conjunction indicates good communicating skills, a strict and formal way of communicating and reasoning and a need to prove your intelligence and qualifications.
Generally speaking, December has NO fixed "less lucky" days as such.
So, let's take a look now at the astrological patterns that are active this month.
Venus enters outdoorsy and flamboyant Sagittarius while Mars at 25° Libra opposes Uranus at 25° Aries around December 1.
Venus of love and relationships is quite carefree and has high hopes in the mutable fire sign Sagittarius.
All things foreign may be highly attractive and optimism and enthusiasm rule.
However, you will need lots of freedom to grow and develop and you may not stand or tolerate narrow places.
You tend to feel more upbeat.
Because of the additional explosive Mars-Uranus opposition, there are sudden twists and turns that bring an unexpected change of course.
This aspect too cannot stand any restrictions and wants to act instantly at its own will.
This accident-prone aspect increases the odds of physical injuries (cuts among others), caused by whatever.
This is a highly energetic and impatient aspect, resulting in some clashes here and there; often caused by imprudence and/or speed.
Due to the entrance of Venus in Sagittarius, there are now 4 bodies residing in this zodiac sign (the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn), building a stellium ti!l the Sun and Saturn leave the sign around December 20-21.
Capricorns may experience this stellium most because of some setbacks, additional sorrow or illness.
Around the December 3 Full Moon, which is a SuperMoon as well, Mercury at 29° Sagittarius stations and turns back while the Sun at 11° Sagittarius squares deceptive and dissolving Neptune at 11° Pisces.
As usual, Mercury's station is felt most by Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) because their lives are always encountering some upsets around the station.
Things don't go as wished for and some minor health complaints are possible too.
Understand that this period is just not acting in your favor and it's best to keep a low profile for the time being.
Neptune in the middle of the Sun-Moon opposition (being the apex planet of the T-square) suggests dissatisfaction, disappointments, misunderstandings, being misled and facing some health issues.
There is chaos, you feel insecure and you can't see things clearly altogether.
This can become a very disappointing Full Moon period and you better try to avoid signing agreements and taking any decisions.
Mercury and Saturn conjoin at 28° Sagittarius around the same day of December 6 and you better watch out what foods you eat because food poisoning may occur.
Mercury-Saturn contacts in the sign of education and higher knowledge indicate some expertise in matters of math, programming, writing, communicating.
This conjunction points to high academic standards.
Your intelligence can be tested but also awarded.
Penetrating Mars enters intense and passionate Scorpio around December 9 and starts its covert investigations with lots of tenacity.
Issues of abuse keep popping up and this will remain the case as long as Jupiter resides in Scorpio too.
Around December 10 Venus at 11° Sagittarius squares Neptune at 11° Pisces.
This waning square in mutable signs is a very seductive and mesmerizing one.
Still try to ground yourself and don't be swayed by false or unreal promises.
Saturn enters its own sign Capricorn around December 19-20.
Saturn is all about boundaries, legislation (the rules actually), borders and fences, walls, authorities and bosses, leaders (of state) and in its own sign Capricorn, Saturn will make sure these topics might manifest powerfully.
It's likely new regulations will bring more limitations but also know that in 2018 Uranus will enter Taurus and trine Saturn, suggesting some very welcome regulations that will bring more freedom and the soft-launching or soft-releasing of revolutionary and innovative new concepts.
So, if you read somewhere that Saturn in Capricorn will bring censorship, restrictions and the like, reconsider because Saturn is not the only planet in this Universe and the bigger picture has to be taken into account which is far more liberating thanks to Uranus (albeit in a gradual way).
Around December 21 the Sun enters Capricorn too and already conjoins Saturn on the same day.
This conjunction at a so-called "critical degree", which 0° Capricorn is, represents a public statement, with (a) world leader(s) or leader(s) of state in the spotlight.
Mercury stations and turns direct again around December 23 at 13° Sagittarius.
Slowly, all Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) will start to find their path again.
You can now more openly share your opinions and take informed decisions.
Venus too enters Capricorn around December 25 and conjoins Saturn on the same day.
Relationships become a focal point, especially to the ones who need relationships to feel more accepted in society.
Due to the entrance of Venus in Capricorn, there are now 4 bodies in this cardinal earth sign (the Sun, Saturn, Venus and Pluto), building a stellium.
Aquarians may feel this stellium most because of some setbacks, additional sorrow or illness.
Jupiter at 16° Scorpio squares the Lunar Nodes around December 31 suggesting a highly productive period for all legal and/or foreign matters.
There can be increased optimism and news about a fortunate development.
